Summary:
As teens, the twins, Luna, and Kerowyn go on a hunting trip. Unfortunately things do not go as well as planned. When they first come in contact with the horrid creatures that could ruin their lives forever...
"Luna! Where's the twins?"
Luna looked around the camp that she and Kerowyn had made. She then glanced over to the twin's camp. Neither twin was found. "Uh..." Luna continued to glance around. "I don't really have any idea." Luna replied then looked back at Kerowyn. "Why?"
"I don't know." Keroywn sat down beside her friend and began to make her arrows. The ocean blue end of the arrow signified that this arrow was indeed hers, and also the inscription on the shaft. The Seas call for her to return them home.... Kerowyn.
Luna was also making her arrows beside her friend. The end of her arrow was silver, just as the moon, and the inscription also proved that this was her own arrow. The light of the Moon guides her people... Luna.
"Kerowyn, did you remember to bring extra fletching?" Luna asked.
"Yes Luna." Kerowyn replied. Her friend often did this. Wondered if she had brought enough of this or that, and if she hadn't she had brought enough for both of them combined. She did the same with her. "I brought enough for you, the twins, and myself for two weeks."
Luna nodded her head. "Good you'll probably need it." she finished the last of her ten arrows and put them with the other ten in her quiver. By the time she had done this Kerowyn had put hers in her quiver as well. "I think that the twins said they were going fishing at the pond."
"Oh." Kerowyn replied and put her fletching back in her pack. "What do you suggest we do while we wait for them to come back with supper?"
"I do not know... let's go scout the area, the twins said they would do it later, but we are perfectly capable of doing it ourselve." Luna stood and grabbed her sword, quiver, and her bow. Kerowyn did the same and they went off to scout the southern area.
"Have you caught one yet?" Elladan asked his twin.
"No." Elrohir replied and leaned back against the rock. "Whoever knew fishing was hard work."
Elenwe sat nearby, laughing as she watched Legolas attempt to put his bait on the end of his fishing rod.
"Do you want to do this?" he asked a little heatedly. Elenwe laughed again.
"No. I've never fished." she said with a smile.
