Ichy, Sneezy & Dozy

******Word of the Chapter: 'eventful'*****

The sunlight shined upon Rivendell with the beauty of early summer. The birds were chirping gently in the distance while the bees buzzed by in warm breezy air. It was a perticularly quiet day and Kerowyn felt a little restless. She walked down the halls, passing by the occasional unknown elf, searching her mind for somthing to do for fun. She sighed heavily, she wouldn't need to think of somthing to occupie her if the guys had been there. Unfortunatly the twins, Lindir and Legolas had gone on a random mission to round up some random orcs in the country a few towns away and Iodhil had gone back to Mirkwood for awhile, as Legolas would when he returned. Meanwhile Searyn and Sanarium were having a picnic day. "I wonder what Luna and Elenwe are doing...?" she wondered aloud, then began looking for her two friends. Normally she wouldn't be so anxsious, but something about the day just board her to tears.

She wondered for a bit, but finally found Elenwe. However, she didn't expect to find her friend stacking mounds of books in order on a shelf with a rolling ladder. Elenwe climbed down and went to pick up some more books when she noticed her, "Oh, hey, Ker... What'cha up to?" she said. Kerowyn ingored her thought for the time being. "Well...nothing and that's my problem. My day has been and seems it will be so uneventful...." Elenwe smirked as she listened to her friend's complaint. "Where's Luna?" asked Kerowyn. Elenwe put some books away and turned to face Kerowyn,

"I think she's with Elrond... doing paper work or setting something up...I don't know, business stuff. Whatever it was, she looked pretty board. Looks like her day's gonna be pretty eventless too..." Kerowyn laughed to herself, she could just imagine Luna sitting quietly with a scowl on her face as she scribbled on a piece of paper with Elrond looking over her shoulder. Elenwe continued to stack and shelve books, "So when are the guys getting back from their little orc hunt?" she asked.

"In about an hour I would say..." said Kerowyn in thought.

"Good." Elenwe set down a stack of books and closed her eyes, "Cause I've got a bone to pick with Elladan... That jackass... leaving me to do his chore..." Elenwe's nuckles popped as her fingered the air like a mad scientist or something. ((Hey don't ask me... I don't know how to explain it...)) "I don't really mind doing it, but that damn Elladan with his stupid little grin of victory as he ran towards the stables saying, 'Thanks, Elenwe!'...Grrrr!!" Elenwe's imitation wasn't to grand, but she got her point across to Kerowyn to sat imagining just how Elladan would look when doing such a thing. "Man, when I get him..." Elenwe murmured, then climbed up on the ladder.

Kerowyn stared off into space for a moment, "That's it!!" she shouted. Elenwe turned her head and lost balance in surprise, she fell from the ladder bringing down quite a few books along with her.

"What's it?" she moaned from within the pile of books. Kerowyn helped her to her feet and grinned misjeviously,

"We'll get them!" she said. Elenwe rubbed her head and looked at her,

"Huh? Get? 'Get' who?" she said. Kerowyn smiled brightly,

"I'll explain in a minute! Follow me!!" she said excitedly. She took Elenwe by the wrist and pulled her out of the study.

"But, Ker... What about the--" started Elenwe as they ran down the hall. Kerowyn took a quick turn into the healing wing and towards Linwe's chamber. Kerowyn looked around for witnesses and, seeing none, crept in and took three little pouches of herbs. Then she walked out quitely and took Elenwe's wrist again. "Ker--" she started but was pulled down more halls and into a kitchen, where Kerowyn made for the cabnets. "Ker...!!" said Elenwe, a little frustrated, "What exactly are we going to do?" Kerowyn placed a pot on the fire,

"Weeee are going to give the guys a welcome they'll never forget..." Elenwe raised an eyebrow, she knew the eventless orc hunts could make people dangerously irratable at times.

"Don't worry. It won't be anything too big..." said Kerowyn, winking. She reached into the cuppords and pulled out various things for making vanilla tea and green tea. She then took out the three packages she had grabbed from Linwe's healing chambers. "Hee hee! This'll be good! You can bet on that!" she said begining to make the tea.

Some time later the guys were on their way back to Rivendell with, as expected, nothing. Kerowyn finished making the tea and set the trays on the table with cups. "Ummm... Ker... Why are there two trays?" asked Elenwe. Kerowyn picked up the herb pouches,

"One is for the boys... and one is for us." She dupped a spoonful of each into some so every cup had a different herb in the tea. An elven maiden came in,

"The lords have returned." she informed them. Kerowyn turned to her,

"Thank you. Would be so kind as to take this tea to them." The elven maiden did so and left. Elenwe and Kerowyn smiled at each other, they might have been asking for trouble from the guys, but who cared? They were bored.

The twins, Lindir and Legolas sat down in a dining chamber. "Well... that was eventful..." said Elladan as he sat.

"Oh, joyful!" retorted Elrohir. The elven maiden walked in and sat the tray of tea down for them,

"I'm told this is for you." she said and left. Legolas took a deep breath and inhaled the scent of green leaf,

"I guess I can stay for a cup of tea..." he said, leaning forward. They each grabbed a cup and began to drink.

Kerowyn and Elenwe were giggling when Luna walked in, "Jeez... that was boring." she said with drooping eyes.

"Are you done helping Elrond?" asked Kerowyn chearily.

"Yeah..." Luna noticed the tea, "Yes... tea." she said grabbing a cup. Kerowyn did the same and took a few sips. Luna took a big gulp and then set the cup back on the table. "Man... I've been wanting vanilla tea all... day..." she said yawning. Elenwe took her first sip, gaged hidiously and turned to Kerowyn,

"Uh, Ker..... didn't you make ours green tea?" Kerowyn didn't have time to answer because Luna fell forward onto the table, they could hear her snoring slightly. "Luna?" Kerowyn sneezed and Elenwe began to scratch her arm unconsciously. "Bless you." she said. After a moment they noticed that they weren't feeling normal... The guys walked into the hall,

"Where do you think the girls are?" asked Lindir. They heard a loud crash and scream come from down the hall. Elenwe and Kerowyn dashed by them with amazing speed and straight for the healing wing. Elrohir turned his head,

"Were they carrying Luna?!" They followed after in a hurry. They reached Linwe's chamber to see Luna passed out and sitting on a bench with Kerowyn and Elenwe sitting beside her. Kerowyn was covering her face and sneezing horribly while Elenwe iching her arms like she were mad. Both were whineing franticly to Linwe who was calmly mixing some herbs.

"I blame you, Kerowyn!" shouted Elenwe, scratch, scatch.

"M-me?!--Achoo!" Kerowyn sneezed.

"Yes, You! It was your idea!!!" ich, ich, scratch.

"Idea?" said Legolas aloud, "Idea for what?" Both of the girls turned to them and shouted,

"Nothing!!!" they turned back to Linwe. "How long will it take for this to wear off? ..." ich, sniff, scratch, Achoo!! Linwe finished sterring a liquid and said,

"About an hour."

"AN HOUR????!!!! --Achoo!!--We have to--Achoo!!!--stay--Achoo!!--like this for an hour??!!!" ich, ich, ich, snoooore... They moaned in saddness as Luna fell against Elenwe's shoulder in sleep. What was worse was that they would have to deal with Luna when she woke up.....
