How I Hate To Bother You... But

A stray book went flying through the air of the library and hit Lindir in the head. "Ow! What the? Who threw that?!" A female voice spoke up from a short distance,

"Sorry!" Luna poked her head around a shelf, "Oh, it's you. Nevermind then. It's alright." Lindir picked up the book at his feet,

"What do you mean 'it's alright'?!" Luna vanished behind the shelf again. She stared at the columns, stacks and rows of books in front of her and sighed. She would never find what she was looking for. Luna put her hands on her hips then rolled up her sleves. "You know you should really watch what you're doing!" Lindir complained, "You could have seriously injuried me!"

"To bad I didn't" Luna said from behind the book shelf.

"What?! You really are cruel, arn't you? How can someone be happy to hurt a friend." A passing thought crossed Luna's mind: "I'm not your friend."

"I mean really! All you ever seem to do is be rude!" Luna poked her head around the corner once again, now on her knees on the floor,

"Ya know if you're just gonna bitch to me, you should just leave." Luna resumed her station behind the shelf and Lindir clenched his teeth.

"You... Your not even listening to me!"

"Nope."

"And what are you doing?!"

"I..." Luna said, "am looking for a book." Lindir glared at the space where Luna would be on the other side.

"A book? ...I hope you don't find it then!" At the same time Luna stood up out of the row,

"Well, I guess that's some progress. Now that they're sorted like that I can find it more easily... If it's in this row." Lindir threw the book he held at the shelf. It hit the side with a loud thud and a creek. The shelf suddenly fell against the one accross from it causing all of the books from both to fall on the ground (along with those that were already there). The large bookcase was left leaning against the other. Luna and Lindir stood, eyes wide. Luna slowly creeked her neck to face Lindir and gave the evilist of stares impending doom and bloodshed. Lindir smiled nervously,

"Heh heh..... Bye!" he sprang for the door...but wasn't fast enough. Through the halls of Rivendell the screams could be heard,

"I'll kill you, you Mother Fucking Bastard!!!!!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luna sighed heavily as she closed the door, leaving the crippled and devistated Lindir to lie in the hall. She walked over to the insane pile of books which she had to look through. Luna hung her head and sighed heavily again, "I guess I might as well start." She climbed under the fallen book shelf and started to stack the books in the middle of the room.
Half an hour later Sanarium and Elrohir opened the door and entered the library to see Luna on top of a little over three feet off the floor mountain of bookson in the middle of the room. "What in the?" asked Elrohir. Luna picked up a book, opened it, read the first page and then threw it behind her,
"Not it." Sanarium walked up to her,
"What are you doing?"
"And why you I have a feeling this has got something to do with Lindir being in the healing wing?" Elrohir added. Luna threw another book behind her,
"I'm looking for a certain book and the dumbass deserving to go to hell, originally known as Lindir caused this pile." Elrohir snickered,
"Guess you could call it Mount Books to Sort." Luna swiftly threw a large leather book and hit Elrohir in the head with a loud thud, "OW!" Sanarium looked at her, "How many have you sorted through already?" Luna pointed to a small pile of books( no more than 15) behind her. Luna hung her head,
"And there's still more under the bookcases!!" Elrohir picked up a book from the pile, still holding his head with his other hand,
"We can help you look." Luna quickly took the book away from him,
"No,no! I'm good. I would like to be alone in my time of agrivation, thank you." Elrohir looked at her in disbielf then shrugged his shoulders,
"Alright. Come on, Sanarium." Sanarium gave her a hopful smile,
"I wish you luck... I'm off to continue treating Lindir." Luna scoffed and scowled,
"Yeah, do me a favor, will ya? Give him a swift, hard kick in the gut for me." Sanarium managed to giggle as she closed the door while Elrohir said,
"I think you need to take a look at my head now too."
A thick grey book went flying and hit the wall with a boom. "Ahhhhh!! I'm never gonna find this Mother Fucking, Valar Damned, piece a shit book!!!!" Luna took a deep breath to claim herself down. She stared at the two piles of the same size in front of her and thought about the books under the shelf. "Maybe some tea will help." she slid down Mount Books to Sort and walked down the hall and towards the kitchen. Elladan whistled a livly tune as he opened the door to the library,
"By the Valar! What happened in here?" Luna walked back to the library with a cup of steaming tea in one hand and the whole pot in the other. She pushed the door open and dropped her jaw and the cup to the floor. Elladan turned around at the sound of glass breaking, "Hey, Luna. I was just trying to get these books together..." Luna looked on in horror at the large mountain of books he had made by combining her 'sorted' and 'unsorted' piles. Luna's free hand clenched the air like she were ripping through flesh. "Luna? ........Luna!!--Luna, wait!!!!" Splash. "You stupid mother fucking idiot!!!!!!!!" echoed down the halls.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Luna hit her head against the wall three times then sighed heavily. She looked at Mount Books to Sort with great despair and tears forming behind her eyes, "I just want to find one book!" she said. Her eyes wandered to the leaning bookcase and it's layered carpet of paper and leather. She walked over and observed the amount of books, more then one ought to look through, but definetly less than Mount Books to Sort. She got on her hands and knees then carfully crawled on her stomach deep into the row. The door open quietly and Kerowyn walked in. She looked around for a moment,

"I thought they said she was in here..." Kerowyn started to search various rows and corners & after not seeing Luna anywhere she called out to her. Luna heard Kerowyn's "Luna!" and in surprise yelped, "Ahhhh!" Kerowyn spun around in surprise and hit the leaning bookcase. It wavered then pushed the other back, causing it to slam to the floor. "Oops! ...But I could've sworn I heard something..." Kerowyn continued to call, "Luna! ...Are you here? ...Luna!"

Searyn opened the door and looked around, "Are you yelling for Luna?" he asked.

"Yes. They told me she'd be in here for a while probably cleaning up these books." Searyn walked up to her,

"Wait, Shh!" They heard a small muffled noise coming from under the bookcase. Searyn kneeled down and put his ear to the case, "...........Luna?" A louder muffled yell came.

"What's she doing done there?" asked Kerowyn. Another yell came, this one harsher and longer. "What'd she say?" asked Kerowyn. Searyn looked at her,

"I dare not repeat it. ...Here help me lit this end of the bookcase." Kerowyn and Searyn counted to three then lifted the end of the bookcase. Luna crawled out quickly, kicking books out from under herself in the process. Kerowyn and Searyn set the shelf down again and Kerowyn turn to her,

"Luna! Are you okay?!" Luna glared at her friend malishously,

"Am--I--Okay? ....YOU want to know if I'm okay?" Kerowyn nodded fearfully. Luna stood up and towered over Kerowyn, staring her down. "OKAY WOULD BE IF YOU HADN'T LET THAT THING FALL ON ME!!! OKAY WOULD----" Luna's eyes wandered to the floor beside them as Kerowyn covered. Luna bent down and picked up a book, she flipped it open and shrieked, "This is it!!!" Kerowyn opened one eye as she inched away. "Ha ha!" Luna shouted. Searyn took the opportunity to rush Kerowyn and himself out of the room before Luna remembered her anger. Luna pressed the room to her chest, "Ha ha---OWW!!" She felt her sides carfully, they were awfully sore. "Screw that for now, I've found the book!" She looked at the ravaged and wrecked library. "I ain't cleaning this up." and she walked out.

Luna walked down the halls at a brisk pace, passing others quickly. Glorfindel attempted to say hello in passing, but to no avail. Luna entered the dining and set her book down, "Now... to get some more tea." She walked into the kitchen and began to prepare some. Iodhil and Legolas walked in and set their packs down,

"Ah, back in Rivendell..." said Iodhil. Legolas set down their extra arrows,

"And now for some tea..." Iodhil spotted the book sitting on the table and picked it up,

"Hey... What's this doing here?" Legolas shook his head. Iodhil set it back down and headed for the kitchen. Luna bent down to the lower cuboard to get some extra sugar for her tea as Iodhil walked in. He saw a pot and two cups sitting on a tray, "Okay... that works." He picked it up and walked back into the dining room. Luna stood up, "Okay...now-" she stared at the vacant table, "What in the hell...?" Iodhil set the tray on the table,

"They must have known we'd want some." Legolas looked at his brother,

"Gwador... It's tea... When do we not drink it?" They each took a cup and Iodhil began to pour. Luna opened the door searching for her lost pot of tea. Iodhil turned to Legolas to ask him something and didn't notice his arm move directly over the book instead of the cup.

"NOO!!!" shrieked Luna as she dove for the book. She landed half way on the table (the edge hitting her lower abdoman) and grabbed it just in time. Iodhil and Legolas wheeled around in surprise,

"What the?! ...Luna? What're you...? Luna?" A great look of pain had overcome her expression she tried to stand up straight and held her sides,

"Ohhh..."

"Luna, are you alright? What happened?" asked Legolas.

"Oh, nothing. Except a bookcase fell on me."

"A bookcase?!" Iodhil shouted. "Luna, you need to go the healing wing!"

"NO!" She held up her hand. She knew if she went they would give her drugged tea and she would be unable to read. "You're not saying a word to anyone, got it?! I'm fine..." She picked up the tray of tea and put the book under her arm, "Now I'll take my tea and be going... But remember! Not-A-Word!!" She eyed both of them and left. Iodhil and Legolas exchanged glances.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luna as sitting peacfully in her room, on her bed with her tea and her book. She turned it to the first page, "Finally!" She got three pages in when there was a knock on the door. Luna looked at the door, annoyed, "Come in!" Glorfindel opened the door and walked in,
"Hello Luna..." Luna sighed,
"Hello, Glorfindel... What is it?" Glorfindel gave her a worried glance,
"I tried to speak with you in the hall earlier and you seemed out of sorts... Is somthing wrong?" Luna thought back,
"Oh! Oh, no. Nothing's wrong. I was just in a hurry to get some tea." Glorfindel seemed to be relieved, but not convinced,
"Ah... Well, I'll leave you to it then." He closed the door behind him and Luna went back to reading. A moment later another knock came from the door. Luna threw the book onto her lap,
"For the love of the Valar!! What in the hell do you people want?????!!!!!!!" Elrond opened the door and walked in slowly.
"Penneth? Can I speak with you?"
"Quickly, Elrond! Hurry, what?"
"Iodhil and Legolas tell me you're injured"
Luna's grip tighted aroung her book and she gritted her teeth.
"You were caught under a bookcase in the library? ...And while you're at it I would like to know why Lindir is in the healing wing, bloody and beaten along with my sons... one with a lump the size of a rock on his head and the other beaten and with 3rd degree burns all over him...."
Luna sat silently brooding, "......."
"Luna ....You are going to the healing wing for your side injuries."
Luna looked at him, "No. I'm not.... I am going to stay right here and read thsi book... it only took me hours to find it through hell and then through hell to get to read it!! Sooo... NOO!!!!"
"Alright then, Luna. I'll make you a deal. Come to the healing wing now and I promise you can read your book there in silence." Luna raised an eyebrow at Elrond but he made no sign of lying. She got up taking her book with her and went towards the healing wing. She entered a room with four beds, three were full. Lindir and the twins groaned as she walked in,
"Valar, what are you gonna do to us now?" they asked. Luna shook her head and walked over to the last bed. There was a table and a window in between her bed and Lindir's, there she put the book. Linwe walked in and banaged her bruised side. Luna layed back and took a deep breath, she had to admit that the healing wings were quiet. Lindir noticed the book sitting next to her,
"What's this?" He picked it up from his bead. "Oh, this thing. Trust me, Luna, this one sucks." He tried to toss it back onto the table between them (due to his injuries) but he threw it a little to high and the book when through the window. Luna's heart dropped. Elrohir shrieked,
"You idiot!!! That was the book she was looking for for hours!!!! ...She'll kill us all!!!!!!!!!!" Luna stood with her face down and invisable, she began to pop her knuckles slowly.
Many screams of pain were heard echoing through the halls.
"WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH ALL OF YOU MOTHER FUCKING BASTARDS?????!!!!! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCKING HELL ALONE???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
