A trip to the falls, thats just what they all needed.
The latest birth if Ileana, Kerowyn's daughter had left the entire group tired, not only the new parents. The group sat on a blanket discussing admist eachother while Luna gave Kerowyn a break watching the twins as they played.
“Lailya…don’t go near the edge.” Luna warned Lailya. Lailya giggled but stopped walking, merely gazing into the falls.
Dailya got up and toddled toward where Lailya was and pushed her twin sister. Lailya fell, scraping her knee. Luna got up and ran to the fallen child before Lailya’s cries would disturb the others. Luna didn’t notice that Dailya was wandering too close to the edge. “Shhhh, Lailya. Dailya will apologize. Won’t you Dailya?” Luna asked, looking for Dailya. Dailya looked up and kept walking, right over the edge. Luna bolted up. “Dailya!” Luna shrieked, everyone in the group looked up, and watched as Luna dived into the water off the bridge, into the rapids. Kerowyn ran and grabbed Lailya and the bridge swayed. Everyone watched in horror as Luna surfaced, Dailya in her arms, the baby shrieking and crying. The current was too strong, and Luna was weighed down with the baby. Lindir yelled to Luna.
“Throw Dailya to me!” Luna threw the child and Lindir caught the child. The twins and Elenwe grabbed a branch and held it out to Luna, who swam against the current to reach it. Luna was about there when the current swept her into a rock. She hit her head and went under the water, and the water carried her under the bridge.
“Luna!” Elrohir yelled, and Kerowyn shrieked. Elladan, Lindir, Elrond and Elrohir all stripped off their outer robes and dove into the river. Elenwe tried her best to calm a crying Ileana, and
Kerowyn was holding her daughters. Searyn was sprinting toward the end of the rapids, and Linwe and Sanariam were printing back to the healing wings. But in everyone’s minds, the same thought was going, “Valar…let Luna be alright…”
Luna’s head was swirling, and she couldn’t breathe. That was her first thought. She couldn’t remember what was going on. Luna opened her eyes and was surprised to see she was underwater. “What am I doing here?” she wondered to herself. She tried to get herself to stop, but it was as if her limbs would not obey her. She was paralyzed as the river rushed her downstream, and suddenly the water was calm. Luna sighed a sigh of relief, and felt her eyes grow heavy. She wanted so desperately to sleep.

Searyn had beaten everyone to the end of the rapids and his eyes scanned the water. At first he didn’t think he saw anything, until he saw blond hair. Searyn ran into the water and saw Luna, face up, and unconscious. There was a gash on her forehead, and her eyes were shut. She was breathing, though shallowly.
Elrond, Elrohir, Elladan, and Lindir, kept swimming down stream, hoping Luna was coherent, and had gotten out…or that they hadn’t passed her. They reached the end of the rapids, and were glad; going through the rapids was hell. Searyn was standing on the bank, soaking wet, and he had something in his arms. The twins, Elrond and Lindir, came splashing out of the river and to Searyn, and they saw he was holding an unconscious Luna in his arms. The cut on her head was bleeding profusely, and her lips were blue. Searyn and the others ran to the healing wings, hoping, praying, they would be fast enough.
