Chapter Nine: Source of Conflict, Source of Laughter

 

*Ka-ru's curls come from the forest attacking & everyone moves out of the way.*

 

*Yamitora throws her Hirakotsu and Luna uses her sword cutting most of the curls.*

 

Ka-ru: You wrechs!!! How dare you?!! *Ka-ru moves from the forest & lunges @ Yamitora in a rage* I'll kill you!!!

 

Suishoku: Oh no you don't!!! *Defuses. Hits Ka-ru with it sending her into a tree, injured.*

 

*The Headless Hunter bounds from the trees with Cordilia on his horse and the sword still at her neck.*

 

Headless Hunter: Stop where you are or she loses her head!! You will not harm my sister!!

 

Sesshomaru: Release her, now!

 

Ka-ru: Ryu? What are you doing? You have your head why didn't leave me and come back for them later?!

 

Headless Hunter: I would never let you stay in harms way and just leave!!

 

Ka-ru: Ryu...

 

Koga: How sweet, brother sister bonding! Now lets get back to the part where I beat you both senseless!!!

 

Sesshomaru: You do as you wish with her, but the Headless Hunter is mine!

 

Cordilia: Help!!

 

Luna: It's okay Cordilia! We'll get you back!

 

Headless Hunter: Oh you will, will you? *Ka-ru moves to his side.* Now that Ka-ru is safe I'll have her head!!!! *laughs*

 

*An aura moves around Cordilia. She faints.*

 

Headless Hunter: Her head is mine!!!

 

Voice: ...Who's head is yours?

 

*Everyone looks at Cordilia to see Natalya there instead.*

 

Natalya: Hands off!! *Hits his sword away and jumps to the rest.*

 

Yamitora, Luna, & Suishoku: Natalya?!

 

Sesshomaru: Natalya.

 

Natalya: I'm not exactly sure what happened to me, but your going down for this!!

 

Ka-ru: Thats not possible, she's human!!!

 

Headless Hunter: He knew about this!!!

 

Sesshomaru: Die, filth! *Sends an energy blast at them with Tokijin.*

 

Headless Hunter: DAMN YOU KUMAAAHH!!!! *they disintagrate in the blast.*

 

*All the girls run up to Natalya.*

 

Luna, Suishoku, & Yamitora: Natalya!

 

Luna: You okay?!

 

Yamitora: We were worried!

 

 

Natalya: One at a time! One, I'm fine. Two, thanks, I feel loved. Three, not really sure. And four, where's Sesshomaru?!

 

Sesshomaru: Here. *walks in between her and everyone else.*

 

Natalya: ...Sorry bout before. Cordilia was just scared...

 

Yamitora: Wait a sec.!

 

Luna: You mean you were aware of everything?!

 

Natalya: Not exactly everything, but most, yeah.

 

Luna: .......I kinda feel sorry for Ka-ru and Ryu. I mean the way they were tricked.

 

Suishoku: It's all because of Kuma, he does crap like this just for fun!

 

Yamitora: Well now what?

 

Sesshomaru: I need to get back to Jaken & Rin. So I will depart.

 

Natalya: Alright, thanks for the help. Bye. *The girls wave and he leaves.* So... what'd I miss while I was with Sesshomaru

 

Yamitora: Not much. Just Suishoku's cush. *smile*

 

Natalya & Koga: Huh? Crush?

 

Suishoku: *Hits Yamitora* Oh, she's just confused! Right?!!!!

 

Yamitora: Yup...*Holds where she was hit with pain.*

 

Luna: *To Natalya* 'Suishoku has the hots for Koga, that wolf demon over there. You should have seen them!'

 

Natalya: 'Really?'

 

Suishoku: *looks @ the 2 of them.* ...What are you guys saying?!

 

Natalya: Nothing.

 

Suishoku: *stress mark* The hell you arn't!!! What'd you say to her Luna?!!!

 

Yamitora: *laughs* Looks like you didn't stop it from getting out!

 

Suishoku: Yeah, keep laughing!!! See what happens!!!

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: Ha Heh.

 

Koga: What was that for?

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: Nothing.

 

Suishoku: Let's just drop it and go back to camp!!! *To Koga* Besides your wolves are waiting for you there, arn't they?

 

Koga: Yeah, they are.

 

Luna: 'The funny/ cute thing it looks like Koga likes her back. I'll have to tell you bout their walk later.'

 

Natalya: 'Can't wait to hear this!'

 

Luna: Alright, let's go back.

 

*Walking away Yamitora, Luna, & Natalya look at each other and giggle.*

*Everyone is up and everything is put away.*

 

Suishoku: Thanks a lot for your help last night.

 

Koga: Not a problem.

 

*Everyone else is a little way off smirking (guys one way, girls another).*

 

Suishoku: Hope you find this Naraku person your after.

 

Koga: Thanks. But I doubt this will be the last time we see each other. Come on guys. See ya! *takes off. The guys follow him.*

 

*The girls start on their way. Everyone is staring @ Suishoku, smikering and snikering.*

 

Yamitora: Well-

 

Suishoku: Think twice!!

 

Yamitora: I wasn't gonna say anything bout you!

 

Suishoku: Good!

 

Luna: 'This is just too funny'

 

Natalya: 'Yeah.'

 

All: ..............................................

 

Natalya: Looks like were gonna have company now.

 

Luna: Yup, looks like it.

 

Yamitora: Looks like frequently too.

 

Suishoku: Huh? What do you mean? Company?

 

Natalya: *Puts arm around her.* Well Koga's just not gonna be able to stay away from our little Suishoku!

 

Suishoku: *stress mark* Grrrrrrr! Why I oughtta!!!! *They stop.* Why do you guys keep saying this crap?!!

 

Luna: Cause you won't admit you like him!

 

Yamitora: And he won't admit he likes you!

 

Natalya: Well?

 

Suishoku: Well what? What will that do?! How do you even know he likes me?!! Plus You guys will still act like this.

 

Luna: But you still love us for it!!

 

Natalya: Yeah! Come on! What would you do if we didn't?!

 

Yamitora: It only shows we're happy for you!

 

Suishoku: You guys are dalosional!!!

 

Natalya: *Raises an eye brow* ...Yeah?

 

Suishoku: Yeah!!!

 

Natalya, Luna & Yamitora: Sure we are!!! *They rush Suishoku.*

 

Suishoku: Ahhhhh!!! *They begin to tickle her too.*

 

Yamitora: Oh come on!!

 

Suishoku: Aahh!! *laughs* Stop! Stop it! *laughs* Aahhhh!!!! Knock it off!!! *laughs* I'll...I'll get you guys!!!

 

Natalya: Okay, now.... Run!! *they quickly run down the path away from Suishoku, she almost falls because of her lost support.*

 

Suishoku: *huff* Guys!! *She runs after them and quickly, laughing. She soon is running next to them laughing with them.*

Chapter Ten: Two Pests in One Night

*The fire is going, & all are gathered around it.*

 

Suishoku: Awww. Nice night.

 

Yamitora: Yeah, look at the stars!

 

Suishoku: Hey look some constilations! *points*

 

Yamitora: Oh the systems! Which ones do you see?

 

Suishoku: _________

 

Luna: *Preparing fish.* You know what?

 

Natalya, Suishoku & Yamitora: What?

 

Luna: We never found out why you changed into Cordilia, the other day.

 

Natalya: Oh yeah....

 

Suishoku: I've been thinking bout that... & I think I know why.

 

Yamitora: You do?

 

Suishoku: I think it was her period of vulerablity... You know, as a half-demon. I mean she is fused with a mortal.

 

Luna: I don't get it. Why would she change though?

 

Suishoku: Think about it. If she were a regular half-demon she would just lose her powers. But she's not a regular half-demon. It makes sense Cordilia, the human half would come out at that time.

 

Natalya: So what? Right now she is just stored in my head aware of what's mostly going on?

 

Suishoku: Yup, I guess.

 

Yamitora: Thats complcated. ...Hey, come to think of it your a half-demon.

 

Suishoku: Yeah?

 

Yamitora: When is your period of vulerablity?

 

Suishoku: Good question. I tell you when I find out.

 

Luna You mean you don't know?!

 

Suishoku: Nope.

 

Natalya: Hey! Thats not fair!

 

Suishoku: I'm sorry, but I can't help it. I haven't been here that long.

 

Yamitora: Hey maybe since your not a natural half-demon either, your down time will be unusal too.

 

Luna: It probably will be. ....Oh! Hey guys, fish is ready.

 

Natalya: Finally! Feelt like we were waiting forever.

 

Suishoku: I'd call you a gluton ...but that dosn't exactly fit does it?

 

Natalya: *glare* Hmmn!!!

 

Yamitora: How bout "food hungry"?

 

Luna: Or "face stuffer"?

 

Natalya: Ha ha, very funny!... Hey guys not to change the suppject but... is the fire flickering oddly?

 

*They all look @ the fire, it continues to flicker.*

 

Yamitora: What's with that?

 

Luna: No idea.

 

Suishoku: What the hell?

 

Yamitora: Feel that?

 

Natalya: Yeah.

 

Luna: It's a demon.

 

Suishoku: The scent is odd, like metal, sorta. It doesn't smell like an animal demon.

 

Natalya: And not that nearby either. ....Hey what the? *she smacks her neck looks @ her hand to see a flea demon sitting there.* Ikujinashi! Where'd you come from?

 

Kiden: Mew.

 

Yamitora: Ikujinashi?!

 

Suishoku: Who are talking to?

 

Luna: Is that a flea demon... you've gotta be kidding me.

 

Ikujinashi: *turns normal again* Natalya! How could you just squash me like that?!

 

Natalya: What do you mean? I used to do that all the time.

 

Yamitora: You know this flea?

 

Natalya: Yeah, I know him.

 

Ikujinashi: Greetings ladies. My name is Ikujinashi, I am an old accuantance of Natalya.

 

Natalya: He's knowledgeable in demons, but a coward to boot!

 

Suishoku: Hey. *points as she goes.* Suishoku. Luna. Yamitora.

 

Luna: Nice to meet you.

 

Ikujinashi: Well, about the demonic presence. Yes there is a demon coming this way.

 

Natalya: Let me guess. You know this cause you were running away from the danger.

 

Ikujinashi: The point is he's skilled in demonic weaponry, I hear his name is Kengeki.

 

Yamitora: Kengeki?

 

Suishoku: Big deal we'll just beat him down! It'll be fun. *grin*

 

Ikujinashi: It won't be so easy.

 

Luna: Why not?

 

Ikjinashi: I hear he is a henchman of a powerful demon.

 

Yamitora: ...Powerul demon?

 

Ikujinashi: Yes, his name is something like Cumer or Cuba.

 

Natalya, Luna, Suishoku & Yamitora: Kuma?!

 

Kiden: *hisses*

 

Ikujinashi: Yes, thats it!

 

Suishoku: Okay, now we're really goin after this guy!

 

Luna: Maybe he knows where Kuma is!

 

Ikujinashi: You're going to attack him head on?!!

 

Yamitora: Of course we are!!

 

*They begin to get ready by putting things back.*

 

~~~~Half an hour later~~~~

 

*A rustle in the trees is cue for a man to step from the trees. He is heavyily armed as he begins to walk forward he stops at the sound of footsteps. The girls appear in front of him. Kiden is enlarged and Ikujinashi is on Natalya's shoulder.*

 

Natalya: Are you Kengeki?!

 

Kengeki: Yes. I presume you are those I seek, considering I see Suishoku there.

 

Suishoku: Yeah, well I've never seen you before!

 

Kengeki: I've heard of you from Kuma as well as Marishca. You were once a plaything of Kuma's. Ha.

 

*Suishoku growls.*

 

Luna: And now she is hanging with some demon slayers and another half-demon. You gonna make a crack about that?!

 

Yamitora: We dare you, it'll only lead to your demise!!

 

Kengeki: Well, well my oponents are ready to fight. Fortuitus for me, how I hate waiting for a battle!!

 

*He unseaths a sword and charges toward Natalya first.*

 

Ikujinashi: What're you doing Natalya?! Move or he will strike you!!

 

Natalya: No way!

 

Ikujinashi: Then you leave me no choice! *He hops off her shoulder.*

 

Natalya: Wha- Ikujinashi, you coward!!!!!

 

*Kengeki & Natalya start to fight with their weapons. Ikujinashi jumps to Luna shoulder.*

 

Luna: What do you think you're doing?! Your not gonna be safe here or on any of our shoulders, you asshole!!

 

Ikujinashi: What do you mean?

 

Suishoku: She means that we don't welcome cowards useing us as shields!!!

 

Yamitora: Looks like Natalya is having a little trouble.

 

*Natalya continues to fight Kengeki with her sais.*

 

Kengeki: That all you got?!

 

Natalya: I was just putting myself at your level so it would be fare!!

 

Kengeki: Don't do that on my account!!

 

*He suddenly hits one of her sais from her hands. Then the other. He goes to cut her with his sword, but she uses her claws and scratches him over his right eye. She kicks the sword from his hand and he falls from his eye. Natalya quickly gets her sais and goes to the others.*

 

Natalya: He's tough, but I've got an idea to beat him.

 

Luna: Good, what is it?

 

*Kengeki, out of ear shot, can't hear them whisper. He stuggles a little to get up from his heavily bleeding eye and turns to them.*

 

Kengeki: You'll pay for that!!

 

Natalya: Ready?

 

Suishoku, Luna & Yamitora: Ready! *Kiden growls in response.*

 

Luna: Let's do it!

 

Suishoku: Oh yeah!

 

Yamitora: Here we go!

 

Kengeki: What are you all scared or something? *laughs* You should be!!

 

Natalya: ....Now!!

 

*Natalya runs, sends a energy blast at him with her sais & moves. Luna shoots arrows at him on Kiden, she then rides her forth and Kiden claws Kengeki. Yamitora throws the Hirakotsu at him, catches it & moves.*

 

Suishoku: And now for the finally!!! *Luna does a fake drumroll.*

 

*She sends another huge energy blast at him with the Suchi-ru-kiba. A giant exploion surronds Kengeki. The smoke clears to reviel him very battered and broken, but not dead.*

 

Kengeki: Grrr! Nice...try, ...but I'm still not dead! Ha ha!

 

Luna: Who ever said we were trying to kill you?

 

Yamitora: We still need you for questioning!

 

A familar voice: Don't think so!

 

*They all look up to see Marishca hovering in the sky.*

 

Kengeki: Where'd you? Why'd you-

 

Marishca: Oh I'd never dream of interfering with one of your spars!

 

Yamitora: Where's my Hedron Bottle?!!!

 

Marishca: Oh you'll see it soon enough! ...And the demons within it!

 

Yamitora: What??!!!!! He can't!!!!

 

Marishca: Yes he can. Kuma plans to unseal it sometime. ...But for now I must take Kengeki back to my master!

 

*She flys down & Kengeki takes hold of her legs.*

 

Natalya: No you don't!

 

*They run to stop her, but she sends a air shock wave, stoping them. Marishca flys high into the air.*

 

Marishca: Oh I believe I do! *She flys off.*

 

Suishoku: Man! Yet another time info slips away.

 

Luna: Great. *Kiden transforms back.*

 

Ikujinashi: *hops to Natalya's shoulder.* Well that did it for Kengeki! Nice work ladies!

 

Natalya: What're you talkin about, you coward!!

 

Yamitora: You ran off as soon as we started planning!

 

Ikujinashi: I didn't run away! I had an ich that needed scratching!

 

Natalya: You're a coward! Sometimes I think it outweighs your knowledge!

 

Ikujinashi: But-

 

Natalya: Nope. *She smushes him.*

 

Ikujinashi: Smushed...again. *He floats to the ground.*

 

Luna: Let's get back to sleeping.

 

Suishoku: Yeah. *They begin to walk away.*

 

Ikujinashi: No! Wait for me!!

 

End of Chapter

 

Chapter Eleven: Youngest Hedron

 

~~~The next couple nights later.~~~

 

*The girls and Ikujinashi have been traveling almost none stop.*

 

Yamitora: *Yawn* Let's make camp.

 

Ikujinashi: *From Suishoku's shoulder* Yes, let's. This is tiresome.

 

Natalya: What do you have to complain about?!

 

*They stop, set they're things down & stretch.*

 

Luna: Look! A hot spring!!

 

Suishoku: What?! Where?! *Ikujinashi falls from her shoulder.*

 

*They look where Luna was looking and see a hot spring, they run a few meters to it.*

 

Yamitora: Alright!!

 

Natalya: Whoo hoo!! Let's go in!!

 

Ikujinashi: Yes!

 

*Luna flicks him off her shoulder.*

 

Luna: Your not coming!!...Kiden, watch him.

 

Kiden: Mew. *Puts his paw on top of him then moves the semi-unconious Ikujinashi away.*

 

Suishoku: Let's go!!

 

*They get undressed and get it.*

 

Yamitora: AHHH! This is what I call a hot spring!

 

Natalya: Just what we needed!

 

Luna: NO kidding!!

 

Suishoku: AHH!!! It's awesome!!

 

*Suishoku's hair is blown by the wind revealing the scar over her heart. They notice.*

 

Yamitora: ....That's the scar isn't it?

 

Natalya: It looks like a bad one.

 

Luna: Guys!

 

Suishoku: Hey, it's alright. Let's just enjoy the hot spring!

 

Yamitora: And Ikujinashi thought he would get in too ha!

 

Natalya: Like we'd let im.

 

Luna & Suishoku: Who cares bout him in here? AWWW!!!!!

 

*They start to laugh.*

 

A voice from forest: Is someone there?

 

*They stop laughing.*

 

Yamitora: What...?!

 

*A man walks from the trees to them.*

 

Man: I heard you laughing and-

 

All: *Blush* ....

 

Girls: (In randum order from all as he yells) What the hell??!!!! Get out!! Leave!!! Pervert!!! Lecher!!! Get the hell out of here!!!!

*They are now dressed and sitting in front of the groveling man.*

 

Man: I'm terribly, terribly sorry ladies! I heard voices and saw you on acciedent!!! It was an acciedent I swear!!!

 

Suishoku: The hell it was!!!

 

Yamitora: Hey, we were all there. It was an acciedent.

 

Natalya: Hmf, yeah so?!

 

Luna: Much as I hate to admit it, it was. Plus we've already givin him some good wacks up side the head with those rocks.

 

Suishoku: *stands* Yeah, well doesn't explain his scent now does it?! *stares at him*

 

Yamitora: Scent?

 

Natalya: He is a demon.

 

Luna: Well we did only just glance at him before.

 

Man: I assure you I want no quarrel with you. ...But you to are part demon as well, so why should you judge me?

 

Yamitora: He's got you there, Suishoku.

 

Suishoku: Grrrrr!!!... Fine!.... You don't really seem that bad of a guy anyway. What's your name?

 

Man: My name is Pentahedron, I am pleased to meet you ladies.

 

*At this point all are standing so he bows.*

 

Pentahedron: And yours?

 

Girls: Luna, Natalya, Suishoku & Yamitora.

*They are now walking on the path to a nearby village. Yamitora is walking next to Pentahedron and the rest are a little farther behind.*

 

Yamitora: So you saw this village on your way toward the hot spring?

 

Pentahedron: That is correct.

 

Natalya: Is it just me or does Yamitora seem a little happier now that we've met this Penta guy?

 

Luna: I'm glad that she is though. She's really been worried bout the whole Hedron Bottle thing.

 

Suishoku: Yeah, she has barely gotten any sleep. But... I doubt I'm th only one who-

 

Natalya & Luna: Who's crushing?

 

Suishoku: Watch it!!

 

Pentahedron: What are you talking about back there?

 

Yamitora: Oh they're probably talking about Suishoku's big time crush.

 

Suishoku: Will you guys knock it off already?!!

 

Luna: Well we still need to see how he feels... Though I doubt that he doesn't like you back.

 

Suishoku: You think?

 

Natalya: Well Luna gave me the run down of when you guys met... and it sounds like you two are a match.

 

Suishoku: *only Luna & Natalya can hear.* Looks like we're not the only ones here, Natalya.

 

Luna: Ha heh. Looks like.

 

*They come upon the village and are welcomed*

 

Luna: May we help you some how?

 

Old village woman: Oh I don't mean to trouble you youngsters.

 

Suishoku: It's the least we could since you welcomed us into the village.

 

Old village woman: Well if you could gather some herbal remidies for me?

 

Yamitora: I'll do it.

 

Natalya: You?

 

Yamitora: Don't really have much else to do.

 

Pentahedron: I'll help you.

 

*Suishoku looks @ Luna & Natalya.*

 

Yamitora: Oh, ah thank you.

 

Natalya: Anything we can do?

 

Old village man: Would you fech some water from the river if you don't mind?

 

Luna: Okay. Come on guys. *All depart for their tasks.*

 

~~~Yamitora & Pentahedron~~~

 

Pentahedron: You seen anything that looks like a medicanal herb yet?

 

Yamitora: No, maybe we shoulda asked what they look like.

 

Pentahedron: I'm taken guesses here. *Picks some plants.*

 

Yamitora: Well, Pentahedron-

 

Pentahedron: Please, just call me "Penta".

 

Yamitora: Okay, Penta. I'm following your lead. *Picks some plants.*

 

*The others are walking back fom the river. Kiden is walking on the ground and Ikujinashi is riding on him.*

 

Natalya: I swear we got suckered into these chores!

 

Ikujinashi: Hey isn't that Yamitora & Pentahedron over there.

 

Natalya: Your right.

 

Luna: Looks like they've got some herbs. *Suishoku starts walking toward them.* What are you doing?

 

Suishoku: I've got an idea.

 

*They are now hiding in the bushes following them.*

 

Suishoku: As soon as I told you guys the idea you agreed with me...

 

Natalya: We wouldn't let the chance just slip by us.

 

Ikujinashi: I can't believe your all doing this.

 

Kiden: Mew.

 

Natalya: Your here arn't you?

 

Luna: It's not that often we get to do this.

 

Suishoku: ... Hey ...you guys didn't... *Luna gulps* YOU DID?! DIDN'T-

 

*Luna & Natalya cover Suishoku's mouth quickly.*

 

Pentahedron: You hear something?

 

Yamitora: Must have been a boar or something.

 

Suishoku: *shoves they hands off.* You did?! Didn't you?!

 

Luna: We were just watching out for you! What would you do if we didn't?!

 

Suishoku: Hmmn!

 

Natalya: And wasn't this your idea? Why exactly did you want to spy on them anyway?

 

Suishoku: You'll see.

 

*Yamitora stops to look at a flower and see if it was a herb.*

 

Pentahedron: What is it?

 

Yamitora: Oh ah. Nothing. *She starts to walk again.*

 

*Suishoku sticks out her foot.*

 

Luna: What are you doing?!

 

Suishoku: What I came here to do. *Suishoku trips Yamitora.*

 

*Yamitora falls & Pentahedron catches her. Yamitora blushes a little.*

 

Natalya & Luna: Ohhh.

 

Suishoku: I thought I'd save her some trouble. ... But that doesn't mean I ain't gonna tease the hell out of her.

 

Yamitora: Th-Thanks.

 

Pentahedron: It's alright.

 

*They stare @ each other a second longer. Then they stand up straight.*

 

Yamitora: My friends and I have told you about us. But you never told me about yourself.

 

Pentahedron: Don't trust me?

 

Yamitora: I am a demon slayer.

 

Pentahedron: I'm not an evil demon if thats what you mean.

 

Yamitora: Hmm it's not.

 

Suishoku: Looks like this is going somewhere! *smile.*

 

Ikujinashi: Shhhhh! *The girls look @ Ikujinashi.* ...What?

 

Pentahedron: Well I have a lot of brothers. *they begin to walk back to the village.*

 

Yamitora: Big family. Sounds fun.

 

Pentahedron: Yeah... we're not close. I mean them as a group and me as well me.

 

Yamitora: Why arn't you close?

 

Pentahedron: BIG differences in opinion. The real sucky thing is we're supposed to be a brotherly team.

 

Luna: Uuuu family issues guy.

 

Suishoku: Ohhhhh.

 

Natalya: Yeah.

 

Ikujinashi: I don't get it.

 

Luna: Nevermind.

 

Yamitora: Well, don't worry about your famliy problems and just follow your heart.

 

Pentahedron: *looks @ her* 'Follow my heart?'

 

*They come to the village.*

 

Natalya: This is goin good but we gotta get back to the village.

 

Luna: Wait a second and we'll just walk in like normal.

 

Suishoku: ...I'm soo gonna kill you.

 

*They go ahead with their plan and walk out.*

 

Ikujinashi: There you are!

 

Yamitora: Hey guys!

 

Luna: Soo, how was your walk?

 

Natalya: Have fun?
