Chapter Seven: Enbrassment With a Side of Spying

*Natalya walks up to Rin, Jaken, Ah Uh, and Sesshomaru*

 

Rin: *turns to see Natalya* Lady Natalya! Lady Natalya your back!! *runs to hug her*

 

Sesshomaru: *turns & stands* Your back. Your friends don't require your talents then?.....Your scent!

 

Natalya: About that...you see... I was cursed by the demon we were hunting, Kuma, and so now I'm fused with a mortal girl til Kuma dies.

 

Sesshomaru: What?! *eyes change to red form*

 

Natalya: You see...thats not the reaction-

 

Sesshomaru: *Growls* What did you say the name of this wretch was?! *Grabs Natalya by the arms*

 

Natalya: Kum- aaah. *eyes widen, she begins to fall but doesn't (sessy's arms)*

 

Sesshomaru: Natalya?! *eyes change back*

 

*An aura surrounds Natalya and she morfs to Cordilia*

 

Sesshomaru: Natalya?!

 

Cordilia: *comes to, looks @ Sessy, eyes widen* AAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEMON!!!!

 

*She gets loose of his grasp and runs away into the forest*

 

Sesshomaru: 'What the hell is going on?!'

 

~~~~~Back to Suishoku, Koga & etc.~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

*Sitting under some nearby trees*

 

Suishoku: So, which mountain does your tribe inhabit?

 

Koga: In the one to the east of here.

 

Yamitora: I know that mountain. I traveled by it once and the wolves almost attacked me. Arn't your tribes man eating?

 

Koga: We were, but we don't harm humans any more... At least not my tribe.

 

Suishoku: What caused the change?

 

Koga: Uh-

 

Luna: I don't mean to change the subject, but... it's getting dark, we should make camp.

 

Yamitora: Your right...This place is as good as any and Natalya can just follow our scent.

 

Suishoku: Come to think of it... I wonder why she hasn't come back yet.

 

Luna: She's probably reminising with her lovely Sesshomaru. *sniker*

 

Koga: Sesshomaru?

 

Suishoku: Our friend Natalya, the half-demon we told you bout eariler, her lover is a dog demon named Sesshomaru.

 

Koga: Yeah, I know him. ...

 

Suishoku: ... you 2 aren't enemies... are you?

 

Koga: As of yet I have no quoral with him.

 

Yamitora: Well *stands* there's plenty of fire wood around here so we better gather some.

 

*Two wolf demons, followed by some wolves come running to Koga, out of breath. Koga turns to them.*

 

Ginta: Koga! *Huff*

 

Hakkaku: *Huff* We finally caught up with you!

 

Suishoku, Luna & Yamitora: *blink ...blink* 'Who are these guys?'

 

Koga: Hey guys. *turns back to the girls* Ginta and Hakkaku this is Suishoku, Luna, Yamitora, and theres another named Natalya.

 

Yamitora: ' "Another"? '

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: Huh?

 

Koga: I told you about these guys eariler, they're my right-hand men.

 

Suishoku, Luna, & Yamitora: ...*Think back* Oh! Those guys!

 

Koga: *turns to guys* Come on guys.... We're gonna do them a favor and find them some dinner.

 

Ginta: We are?

 

Suishoku: You are? *smile* Uh thanks a lot...we really appreciate it.

 

*Luna elbows Yamitora, they look @ each other & snicker*

Suishoku: *raises eye brow @ them* 'I'll hit them later.'

 

Koga: *smile* Not a problem, we're more familar with this area than you guys.

 

Ginta, Hakkaku, Luna & Yamitora: *widen eyes a little* 'That's kinda strange.'

 

*The guys leave to get food. Suishoku turns around to be confronted by the stares of Luna & Yamitora, each with one eye brow raised*

 

Suishoku: ...What? *confused*

 

Luna & Yamitora: It's nothing. *they turn around, faceing away from her and look @ each other*

 

Suishoku: Huh? *looks back and forth @ them*

 

~~~~~In a forest~~~~~~~

 

*Cordilia is running through the trees stricken with fear and confusion*

 

*she trips & falls*

 

Cordilia: Unn! ahh. Where am I?! Whats going on?! *she looks @ the darken forest and fear begins to swell again within her*

 

*moan*

 

Cordilia: *begins to tear* uhhh. *gets up and starts running again* 'I've gotta find Yamitora and the others!'

 

~~~~~~~~~The girls are gathering the last bit of fire wood~~~~~~

 

Luna: *whispers to Yamitora who then whispers back*

 

Suishoku: *Puts down the last piece of fire wood and starts the fire* Mmmn! 'As if I can't hear them just a little!'

 

Luna: *giggles & gets out the water containers* Suishoku, why don't you go get some water from the river...maybe Koga is down there.

 

Suishoku: Whats that supposed to mean? *raises eyebrow*

 

Yamitora: Shes saying "don't you wanta go see Koga?". I mean you should of seen your face when you first met him.

 

Luna: You got the hotts for Koga. *snicker*

 

Suishoku: Wha-?! *blushes*

 

Yamitora: Look @ her blush!

 

Luna: Don't worry Suishoku all you need to do is sink your claws into him now, I mean wolves do mate for life ... don't they?

 

Kiden: Mew.

 

Yamitora: See? Kiden agrees.

 

Suishoku: *blushes more* You guys are insane!!

 

*They begin to yell at each other (they're teaseing Suishoku and shes just yelling @ them) when out of nowhere a dead boar comes flying and lands between them*

 

Luna, Suishoku, & Yamitora: Ahh! *they look @ the boar*

 

*Koga (followed by Ginta and Hakkaku) emerges from the trees*

 

Koga: Well, I brought you guys dinner just as I promised. ... Were you guys talking about me?

 

*Suishoku blushes slightly*

 

Yamitora: No we wern't talking about you. We were talking about Suishoku's cru-

 

Suishoku: *Runs & immedietly covers her mouth* Um, no we wern't talking about you. *nerious smile* Why would you think that? *under her breath only Yamitora annd Luna can hear* If you dare try that again you are SOOO dead, got it?

 

*Yamitora nods laughing but still afraid, and she lets go*

 

Koga: 'Then why did I keep sneezing?' Hey, um, Suishoku?

 

Suishoku: Uh... yeah?

 

Koga: Would you come with me for a walk?

 

Luna, Yamitora, Ginta & Hakkaku: Wha?! *eyes widen*

 

Suishoku: Uh... *Eyes widen* s-sure.

 

*Yamitora & Luna start to snicker and smile*

 

*Suishoku shoots a look @ them, they try to stop laughing. Suishoku and Koga walk away*

 

Yamitora: You thinking what I'm thinking?

 

Luna: To follow them?

 

Yamitora: Ohhh yeah.

 

*They begin to walk away*

 

Ginta: Follow them?!

 

Yamitora: Yeah, arn't you coming?

 

Hakkaku: Of Course! *goes with them*

 

*Ginta starts to run after them*

 

Ginta: Wait!!! Do you have any idea what they're gonna do to us if they find out???!!

 

Yamitora: Thats why you don't get caught.

 

~~~~~Suishoku & Koga are walking (with everyone else not to far behind in the bushes)~~~~~~~~

 

Suishoku: So, uh... why did you want me to come with you?

 

Koga: I wanted to show you something.

 

Suishoku: Show me something? Show me what?

 

Koga: We're almost there, you'll see.

 

Suishoku: Uhh... okay. 'Should I be worried?'

 

Luna: Where are they going?

 

Yamitora: Shh!! We'll see!!

 

Hakkaku: Come on.

 

Ginta: This is such a bad idea!

 

*Koga and Suishoku come out of the forest to a grassy, and hilly plain*

 

Suishoku: Huh? 'This is what he wanted to show me?'

 

Koga: There. Look. *looks up @ the sky*

 

Suishoku: Uh *looks up--Eyes widen, and she gasps, sees the moon (not full or cresent)* Wow! Oh my God!! It's Beautiful!!

 

Koga: I thought you'd like it.

 

Suishoku: Like it?! I love it!! It's breath taking!

 

Koga: Well you are a wolf. Or... half-wolf anyway.

 

Suishoku: *laughs and continues to stare @ the full moon* It's lovely.

 

Koga: Is it that astonishing?

 

Suishoku: In my era you'd never seen the moon like this.

 

Koga: Really?

 

Luna: This is romantic.

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: I can't believe this is happening!

 

Yamitora: Arn't you glad you came?

 

Suishoku: Hmmmm. *she begins to sing*

 

*all eyes widen and look @ her*

 

Suishoku: You give me to many things, Baby. Your all I need, oohh. Inside of me, unsaid.

When you walk away you don't say "Pleeease, oh Baby. Don't go." Simple & clean as the way that your makin' me feel tonight. It's hard to let go---

 

Koga: You have a beauitful voice.

 

Suishoku: *comes back to reality* UH??!!!!! *Blushes big time* 'OHHH MYYYY GOD!!!!! I'M SUCH A COMPLETE MORON!!!!! I WAS SO CAUGHT UP IN THE MOON I TOTALLY FORGOT HE WAS EVEN HERE,... AND STARTED SINGING?????!!!!!!' *Backs up a little*

 

Koga: *laughs* Whats the matter?

 

Suishoku: *turns to Koga, still bright red* I... I...uh.

 

Koga: *Walks up to her* You don't have to get all embearassed. Heh, really, take the complement.

 

Suishoku: Uh...thank you. You see it's just that I... I usally don't sing infront of people. Ha...

 

Koga: Heh.

 

Yamitora: Kiss her!!!! Kiss her!!!!

 

Luna, Ginta & Hakkaku: Arn't you getting a little ahead of yourself?

 

*Just then Cordilia comes running out of the woods and up to Suishoku, hugging her.*

 

Cordilia: Suishoku!!!!

 

Koga: Huh?! 'Who the hell is she?'

 

Suishoku: What?! Cordilia?!! What are you doing here?!! 'And now?'

 

Luna: Oh crap this is important!

 

Ginta: You see?!

 

Yamitora: Calm down I got a plan!

 

*They back up carfully and pretend to run up to Suishoku, Koga, & Cordilia looking consered*

 

Yamitora: We heard you yell and came running!

 

Hakkaku: Whats the matter?

 

Suishoku: It wasn't me it was Cordilia!

 

Luna: Cordilia?!

 

~~~~~In the woods~~~~~

 

Voice 1: His orders were very clear.

 

Voice 2: I know that!

 

Voice 1: This should be fun though.

 

Voice 2: *turns to leave*

 

Voice 1: Where do you think you're going?!

 

Voice 2: I work better on my own... so do you, so lets do that. *leaves on horse*

 

Voice 1: ...

Chapter Eight: Nightmare of Sleepy Hallow

 

~~~~~~Back to the gang~~~~~

 

Cordilia: ...And that's what happened.

 

Luna: Oh boy!

 

Yamitora: Gee, I wonder what Sesshomaru's thinkin right now.

 

Ginta: ...Man, this forest is freakin me out.

 

Hakkaku: Yeah, I know. It's givin me the creeps too.

 

Koga: Will you two whimps be quiet!! If you can't stand Sleepy Hallow, then leave!!

 

Suishoku: Sleepy Hallow?

 

Koga: Yeah, thats the name of this forest. The legend is that it's cursed with the Headless Hunter.

 

Cordilia: Headless... *gulp* Hunter?

 

Koga: Yeah, a banbit named Ryu was running from a dark priestess because he stole somthing of hers. But she caught up with him and beheaded him. And then after cursed him to hunt for a new head in this forest forever.

 

Cordilia: That story... it's not true is it?

 

A voice from the forest: Yes... It is! *A headless man on a horse jumps from the trees.*

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: THE HEADLESS HUNTER!!!! AHHHHHH!!!

 

Cordilia: AHHHHH!!!!

 

Headless Hunter: Yes! And I desire a head!! Who's shall I take?! *He unsheathes his sword.*

 

Koga: Your not taken any heads tonight!! Huuuu!! *He goes to hit him, but he moves and Koga misses*

 

Headless Hunter: Don't try to interfear with this, demon!!! You can't stop me!!!

 

Koga: Yeah, right!!

 

*Headless Hunter and Koga begin to fight, causes everyelse to scatter a little so as not to be hit. Cordilia trips, the Headless Hunter swings around on his horse and rears as if to land on her. But someone dashes in and saves her.*

 

Luna, Yamitora, & Suishoku: *Breath out heavily*

 

Cordilia: Who?.... You!!!! *She looks up to see Sesshomaru.*

 

Sesshomaru: Headless Hunter?

 

Headless Hunter: What does a dog want with me?!

 

Sesshomaru: You will pay for your transgressions!

 

Headless Hunter: Ha! I will depart ... for now. But I do have my sight set on one imperticular head! *Laughs and rides off.*

 

*Cordilia runs next to Yamitora.*

 

Suishoku: Do you think that could be Sesshomaru?

 

Yamitora: No way! Natalya is with this guy for cryin out loud.

 

Luna: Um... guys.

 

Yamitora & Suishoku: Yeah?

 

Sesshomaru: I am Sesshomaru.

 

Suishoku: Looks like I was right.

 

Yamitora: Sesshomaru.... Sorry bout that.

 

Cordilia: ...Sesshomaru? The one to which Natalya is in love with?

 

Luna: Yup.

 

Cordilia: Oh. .... *Walks in front of Sessy and bows* I'm sorry for the way I acted earlier, I didn't know who you were. ...Lord Sesshomaru. I am Cordilia the human fused with Natalya.

 

Luna: What I wanna know is why your here?

 

Suishoku: We'll figure that out later. We need to get rid of this Headless Hunter!

 

Koga: Well then, We'll help.

 

Yamitora: *Elbows Suishoku* Eh?

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: What?! We are?! Why?!

 

Koga: Because we've got nothing better to do and they need our help!!!

 

*Luna & Yamitora look @ each almost evily.*

 

Sesshomaru: I will assit as well.

 

Luna: Well then we've got some help let's go find him and see if he knows about Kuma.

 

Yamitora: Hey wait a sec.

 

Suishoku: What's the matter now?

 

Yamitora: There's a lot of us, it'll probably make lots of noise if we all stay together. Why don't we split up?

 

Suishoku: That does make sense. But who's going with who?

 

Luna: How about Koga, Suishoku, Ginta, Hakkaku and Sesshomaru, Yamitora, Cordilia and me.

 

Yamitora: Any commplants?

 

*No one says anything*

 

Sesshomaru: It seems there are none, so let's go.

 

Suishoku: We'll go this way. And you guys can go that way.

 

Luna: Okay. *All turn to leave* ...Oh and Suishoku.

 

Suishoku: Yeah? *turns head*

 

Luna: ... *Smile* Have fun.

 

Suishoku: *Shoots her a look* Grrrr!! 'She did this on pupose!! What's that suppose to mean anyway?! Grrrr, I'll hurt her later!!'

 

*All depart*

 

~~~~Koga & Suishoku's group~~~~~~~

 

*Suishoku & Koga are walking further up in front while Ginta & Hakkaku are walking in the back*

 

Ginta: So do you think they noticed what we were doing?

 

Hakkaku: No, it doesn't look like it.

 

Suishoku: I wonder what she meant by "Have fun."

 

Hakkaku: I bet I have a good idea.

 

Suishoku: What'd you say back there?

 

Ginta: Ah nothing.

 

Koga: What were you guys talking about back there anyway?

 

Hakkaku & Ginta: Nothing.

 

Suishoku: Really? When why-

 

*They heard a noise*

 

Koga: Name yourself!!

 

A voice from the trees: Well look what I've found. Some little wolves have gotten themselves lost in Sleepy Hallow.

 

Suishoku: Who are you?! Come out!!

 

*A demon girl with her hair curled at the ends jumps from a tree branch to in front of them*

 

Demon: My name is Ka-ru. And my brother as well as Kuma desire your heads!!

 

Suishoku: Kuma?!!! Tell me where he is right now!!!! Then maybe I'll show you mercy!!!!

 

Ka-ru: Kuma told me of you and your little friends. He said you might not fall so easy for my brother and I.

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: Brother?

 

Ka-ru: Yes, I believe you've already met him. ...The Headless Hunter Ryu!

 

Koga: Who cares if he's your brother?! I'm more interested in defeating you anyway!

 

Suishoku: It was foolish of you to approach us. Even more so that you knew who I was!

 

Ka-ru: Heh. You really believe yourselves able to take us on! My brother has already chosen his head.

 

Koga: Well he's not here so let's fight!! *Moves to puch Ka-ru*

 

Ka-ru: Go! *Her curls fly up, grow larger, & attack Koga.*

 

Suishoku: 'Wait a minute. If the Headless Hunter has already chosen a head why isn't he here.... That must mean that he's going after someone in the other group! But... Who?!'

 

*Koga & Ka-ru continue their fight (Koga dodges, Ka-ru tries to hit him). While Ginta, Hakkaku, and Suishoku stand back and watch since Koga has "taken" the match.*

 

Ka-ru: *Suddenly stops and stands, bringing her curls back.* Catch me if you can! *Runs off using branches as steping stools*

 

Koga: You won't get away that easily!!! *Runs after.*

 

Suishoku: Wait!! This could be a- *Realizes Koga is now out of ear shot.* trap. *Runs after him with her speed.*

 

Ginta & Hakkaku: What about us?! *They run after them too.*

 

~~~~~Mean while~~~~~~

 

*Luna, Yamitora, & Cordilia are walking in back while Sesshomaru is walking far ahead of them.*

 

Yamitora: Coridilia, you okay?

 

Cordilia: Oh me yeah, I'm fine.

 

Luna: Really? ...Cause you've been acting weird. That is it?

 

Cordilia: Nothing. I'm fine.

 

*Both raise an eye brow.*

 

Cordilia: Alright it's...

 

Yamitora & Luna: Yeah...

 

Cordilia: You see it's...

 

Yamitora & Luna: Yeah?!

 

Cordilia: I feel sort of akward around Lord Sesshomaru, cause of the whole Natalya thing. And I just know he hates me for being fused with her.

 

Yamitora: What?! Thats not true!

 

Luna: He maybe angry with the stiuation. But not with you. He definatly blames Kuma.

 

Yamitora: It was his fault.

 

Cordilia: Hmm... I guess I'll just have to get over it, won't I?

 

Luna: Sorta.

 

*Sesshomaru suddenly stops walking. They almost run into him.*

 

Yamitora: Hey, why'd you stop?

 

Sesshomaru: ...

 

Yamitora: Are you gonna answer me?!

 

Luna: Did you sense the Headless Hunter or something?

 

Sesshomaru: He's near somewhere.

 

Cordilia: What?! Where?!

 

Headless Hunter: Here!! *He bounds from the trees on his horse.*

 

Cordilia: AHHHHHHHH!!!!

 

*The girls startled, back up (Yamitora & Luna ready their weapons). The Headless Hunter goes after them but Sessy blocks his sword with Tokijin. They begin a battle of their own while the girls standby.*

 

Luna: It looks like Sesshomaru's taken this one.

 

Yamitora: Looks like it.

 

Cordilia: *Behind Yamitora.* Will he be alright?

 

Luna: I don't really see why not.

 

*The Headless Hunter swings around and runs into the girls, they scatter.*

 

Sesshomaru: Your tatics consist of basic blocks & useing humans as shields & distractions. It's novice.

 

Headless Hunter: Ha!! What you call novice, I call tactful *He uses his demon horse's power and a flame surrounds him then departs to show him ridding off and from a distance.* I shall have my head!!!

 

Luna: Well that was odd.

 

Sesshomaru: He is a worthless demon.

 

Yamitora: Hey guys....

 

Luna: Yeah?

 

Yamitora: ....um where's Cordilia?

 

All: ...

 

Luna & Yamitora: OHHH DAMN!!!!! SHE'S HIS TARGET!!!!!!!!

 

Sesshomaru: He's mine!!

 

*All run after him (Luna on Kiden).*

 

~~~~~Cordilia & Headless Hunter~~~~

 

Cordilia: AHH!!! LET ME GO!!!!! AAHHHHHHH!!!!

 

Headless Hunter: *Moves his sword to her throat and laughs.* Scream all you want!! It just makes it all the more fun!!

 

*Cordilia begins to cry.*

 

~~~~~Suishoku & Koga's group~~~~~~

 

Suishoku: Damn it!! Koga!! 'Although it's not like I wouldn't've done the same thing.'

 

Ginta: I didn't know she could run like Koga!! *Huff, huff*

 

Hakkaku: *huff, huff* And she doesn't even have jewel shards!!

 

*Koga stops when he senses Ka-ru hadn't kept fleeing. Suishoku quickly runs into him.*

 

Suishoku: Where's Ka-ru?!

 

Koga: Hiding. *yells to Ka-ru* What are you chicken?!

 

*Ginta & Hakkaku come runing very out of breath. Then everyone else comes from the opposite way and Luna & Yamitora jump off Kiden while she changes back.

 

Suishoku: What the?! Where'd you come from?!

 

Luna: We were chaseing the Headless Hunter! You?

 

Suishoku: We were after his sister, Ka-ru, a demon also. ...*realizes* Headless Hunter has Cordilia!

 

Yamitora: Unfortunatly...

 

Koga: They're hiding in the trees.

 

*All become cautious.*
