Chapter Three: The Threat Appears

*A girl comes running toward them*

 

Cordilia: Yamitora, your back.

 

Yamitora: Yup, guys *turns to rest* this is Cordilia, Cordilia this is Suishoku, Luna, & Natalya. They're some new allies.

 

Cordilia: Please to meet you. *bows* The Lord wishes to see you.

Lord Iring: I was surprised to hear you were acommpaning demons, but you are a demon slayer. If you trust them, then I trust them too.

 

Luna: We will work to exterminate the demon, Lord Iring.

 

Iring: The demon will attack tonight.

 

Luna: How is it you know this?

 

Iring: The demon attacks every other night.

 

Yamitora: What kind of demon did you say it was?

 

Suishoku: Weasel. *All look at her* ...*looking around* The scent is still in the castle.

 

Iring: *Claps hands* Prepare a room and a meal for our guests.

 

Cordilia: Yes, my lord. *bows*

 

~~~~~~Eating in room~~~~~~

 

Suishoku: This is delicious!

 

Cordilia: Thank you. So the meal meets your approval?

 

Luna: Are you kidding? This is great!

 

Cordilia: I'm glad. *smiles*

 

Natalya: Your cooking is good! You should come with us!

 

Cordilia: Huh? Oh, no I couldn't.

 

Yamitora: *laughs*

 

Natalya: What's stopping you?

 

Cordilia: It's just I'm not good with danger. *stands up* I should go.

 

*A spec of some substance is flicked on Natalya. No one notices*

 

Natalya: Bye.

 

*Cordilia walks outside, a spec is flicked on her with no notice*

 

~~~~~~Later that night~~~~~~~~~~

 

Yamitora: *to Natalya* Is it just me or are you fond of Cordilia.

 

Natalya: It's just you. Just kidding, her cooking is great.

 

Yamitora: Eh. That's not what I meant.

 

Natalya: Then what did-

 

*They hear a large crash outside, someone screams*

 

Luna: Time to work!

 

Suishoku: Yeah! Let's go!

 

*They jump up, grab their weapons and run outside*

 

*They see the weasel demon has broken through the wall, Kiden grows large*

 

Luna: Ah man! It's huge!

 

Natalya: Rookie.

 

Suishoku: Novice.

 

Luna: Don't start that now, we have to slay it!

 

*Yamitora throws the Hiraikotsu at it*

 

Yamitora: HYAAAA

 

*Luna shoots arrows at it*

 

*it jumps up, both miss*

 

Suishoku: My turn!!

 

Weasel: If those humans couldn't hit me what makes you think a half-breed like you can?

 

Suishoku: ...HALF-...BREED????!!!! *big stress mark, accopanied by many others*

 

Weasel: What lost your nerve, Half-breed?

 

*Suishoku runs, hits the weasel with her claws, it falls bloody and weak*

 

Suishoku: DON'T... CALL ME... HALF-BREED!!!!!!!!!!

 

Luna: Holy!!!!!!

 

Natalya & Yamitora: Whoa!!!!!

 

Suishoku: *turns to them*...Needless to say I absolutly detest the term, "Half-breed"!!!

 

Luna: I'll make a mental note of that...

 

Natalya: Let me do the rest Suishoku. Take this!!!!

 

*Takes out her sais, and slices him up with them. It falls, dies, & disintagreats*

 

Luna: There!

 

Cordilia: *comes running* You did it!!

 

Suishoku: Hey, your- *freezes, eyes widen a little*

 

Luna, Natalya, Yamitora & Cordilia: Huh?

 

Yamitora: What's the matter?

 

A voice: Surprised, my half-demon?

 

*A man appears where the demon stood*

 

Luna: "Your" half-demon? *looks at Suishoku*

 

Suishoku:*Clenching fangs very hard, growling, clenching fists, with a look of pure hatred* KUMA...YOU BASTARD!!!!

 

Luna: What?!

 

Natalya: He's Kuma?!

 

Suishoku: DAMN YOU!!! *charges Kuma and tries to strike him with her claws*

 

*Kuma moves, hits her, she is thrown into a piller of the castle*

 

Luna: Suishoku!!!

 

Yamitora: Are you alright?!

 

*Yamitora, Cordilia, Natalya & Luna run to her*

 

Suishoku: I'm fine!*gets up*

 

Luna: I don't think the piller is.

 

Kuma: What's this? I see you've gained some friends since last we met.

 

*Suishoku growls*

 

Natalya: So, What of it?

 

Kuma: I'll show you "what of it".

 

Suishoku: I DON'T THINK SO!! *stands in front of rest* Suchiru-kiba! *She defuses a weapon from her right arm*

 

Yamitora: What the hell is that thing?!

 

Natalya: I think it's her weapon!

 

Luna: Oh my God!

 

Suishoku: NYAAAAA HAA *runs, tries to hit Kuma he moves away, she misses*

 

*growls tries to hit him again, he doesn't move and the Suchi-ru-kiba goes right through him*

 

Suishoku: What the...!!!

 

*the image of him fades*

 

*the real Kuma has moved to the top of the wall*

 

Kuma: *laughs* Shall I act on my whim?

 

Suishoku: *growls* 'What's he planning?'

 

Cordilia: Huh?!

 

Kuma: *points at them* I'll start with you two. *an evil aura surrounds him, then Cordilia & Natalya, source: spec*

 

Luna: Natalya!!

 

Suishoku: No, stop!!

 

*Cordilia & Natalya are lifted into the air*

 

Cordilia: AHHHHHH!!!

 

Natalya: arrr Put us down!!!!

 

*they are thrown together, a blinding light explodes from them*

 

Yamitora: What's going on?!

 

*The light supsides, they see only Natalya on the ground*

 

*they run to Natalya*

 

Luna: Where's Cordilia?!

 

Suishoku: You OK?

 

Natalya: un, uh...I...*eyes widen* uh What happened?!

 

Yamitora: We don't know.

 

Suishoku: *eyes widen* ...your scent!

 

Luna: What?

 

Suishoku: It's the scent of a half-demon, and Cordilia's scent has completely disappeared!

 

Yamitora: What, how is that possible?!

 

Natalya: ... No. Oh no!

 

Kuma: *laughs* I've fused the cat demon, Natalya with the mortal girl useing a curse. It will remain permanent as long as I live!

 

Luna: HOW DARE YOU?!

 

Suishoku: EEEERRRRR BASTARD!!!!

 

*Kuma's image fades*

 

Kuma: I'm looking forward to our next encounter...my half-demon.

 

*voice fades*

 

Suishoku: DAMN!!!! He got away!! *clenches all, growls*

 

Yamitora: How do you feel, Natalya?

 

Natalya: It's just a little wierd, but I'm fine.

 

Luna: I guess Cordilia has to come with us after all, and you have a reason to come too.

 

Natalya: Wait til Sesshomaru hears about this.

 

*Suishoku still very upset a little far from rest*

 

Suishoku: ...Damn!

 

*Luna looks @ her, walks up and puts her hand on her shoulder*

 

Luna: It's alright.

 

Suishoku: No...no it's not!

 

*She moves away, repeat Luna's action*

 

Luna: We'll get him.

 

Suishoku: Not that!

 

Yamitora & Natalya: Huh? *they look @ Luna & Suishoku*

 

Suishoku: Sorry. It's just...He tricked me with his imagery, he did this to Natalya and Cordilia and it's my fault!

 

Luna: No it's not! None of us could stop what he did to them, it's not your fault. Anyway I can't believe you could do all that!!!!! I'm so still a novice!!

 

Suishoku: ...You are.

 

*they laugh*

 

Suishoku: Luna...thanks.

 

Luna: *smiles* Anytime!

Chapter Four: Snared In the Pits of Random

 

~~~~~~Next day~~~~~~~~~

 

*Yamitora is talking to the lord, everyone else waiting outside the gate.*

 

Yamitora: We'll be going, the demon is gone.

 

Lord: Thank you so much.

 

Yamitora: It was nothing. *runs to meet them*

 

Luna: Well, to quote Suishoku shall we get going?

 

Yamitora: Wait for me!

 

Natalya: Your coming with us?

 

Yamitora: Course. Kuma is terrible, and I want to help you defeat him.

 

Suishoku: Looks like we've got another companion, heh.

 

Kiden: Mew

 

Luna: Well then, let's go! *they start to walk down the path*

 

Yamitora: I have a question about you.

 

Suishoku: Hm? Yeah?

 

Yamitora: What's that thing you took out of your arm and how'd you do it?

 

Natalya & Luna: Good Question.

 

Suishoku: *turns, is now walking backwards, defuses* It's my Suchiru-kiba, my main weapon. As for how I do it even I don't know. It just defuses when I want it to is all. *fuses back*

 

Yamitora: Whoa. Must come in handy.

 

Suishoku: Yup. ...Huh, come on guys let's pick up the pace a little.

 

Natalya: That was energetic.

 

Yamitora: *smiles*

 

Luna: Yeah, calm down. We won't be able to keep up with you.

 

Suishoku: Ah so you guys noticed my speed.

 

Natalya: More like we couldn't miss it.

 

Luna: You only dashed past us at an immortal speed with a tornado behind you.

 

Suishoku: Yeah, well I'm not a motal.

 

Luna: That's not what I, oh forget it.

 

Suishoku: I can't help it if i'm capable of such speeds.

 

Yamitora: Hey, it's an advantage that she's so- *the ground under them gives way* faaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

 

Natalya, Suishoku & Luna: Aaahhhhhhhhh.

 

*They fall, Suishoku gabs Luna's arm and sinks her claws into the wall saveing them from falling, Natalya does same with Yamitora, Kiden is now on Natalya's shoulder.*

 

Yamitora: ...See what I mean?

 

Luna: Yeah, yeah.

 

Suishoku: You guys better be able to land.

 

Luna & Yamitora: What?!

 

Natalya: Up you go!

 

*Natalya & Suishoku throw Luna & Yamitora over the pit, Luna barely lands on her feet, Yamitora lands on her ass*

 

Yamitora: Oww!!

 

Luna: Huh? I landed! I landed on my feet!

 

Yamitora: I see that. Ow!!

 

*Suishoku & Natalya jump over the pit walls and land with ease and grace*

 

Yamitora: You guys make it look easy.

 

Luna: I landed!!

 

Natalya: Rookie.

 

Suishoku: Novice.

 

Yamitora: Dork.

 

Luna: Hey!

 

Natalya: We should get going.

 

Suishoku: Doesn't look like it's entirely safe with that trap springing from nowhere.

 

Yamitora: Yeah.

 

*They continue walking, they walk into a forest that lines the path*

 

*Suishoku trips and falls over a wire strenched across the path*

 

Suishoku: W-what the..?

 

*they hear a noise in the trees*

 

Luna: What is that?

 

*They see a sharpened log tied up by wines swinging toward them*

 

Yamitora: Ah crap!!

 

*they dodge it and hang onto some trees*

 

Natalya: What the hell is going on around here?!

 

*Boom*

 

Luna: What now?

 

*they see a large boulder is rolling at them at a fast paist, they start to run away*

 

Suishoku: You had to ask!!!!!

 

*Kiden transforms, Luna jumps on her, Luna grabs Natalya &Yamitora's arms, pulling them on Kida, they fly in front, Suishoku kicks in her speed and runs way in front w/ others, they run out of forest.*

 

~~~~~All of them breathing hard a little on the grass~~~~~~

 

Natalya: *huff* What the hell was all that?!

 

*some villagers come runing up to them*

 

Villager: Are you alright?!

 

Luna: We're *huff* fine.

 

Villager: I'm terribly sorry our villege has been attacked recently so we set up these defences.

 

Yamitora: *huff* You call those defences?!

 

Villager: In exchange for all that you shall stay at our villege tonight with beds and food.

 

Natalya: I like that idea.

Chapter Five: The Bottle of Hedra

 

~~~~~~~~At the village in their temporary room~~~~~~~~~

 

Natalya: Maybe that was fortunate after all. *takes a big bite of rice*

 

Luna: Your only saying that cause it got us some beds and dinner.

 

Natalya: So?

 

Suishoku: Well *stands up* I'm done with dinner and it's dark. I'm going out for a night walk.

 

Luna: alright.

 

Yamitora: Careful, there's things to watch for out there.

 

Natalya: She'll probably be one of 'em. Heh.

 

Suishoku: Thanks. I'll take that as a complament. *walks out*

 

Yamitora: Why did she want to go on a walk, now?

 

Luna: She's a wolf. She's naturally drawn to the night and the moon.

 

Natalya: Well the air is fresh. *takes a bite of rice*

 

Luna: *her expression becomes serious and sad* Wonder what it's like....

 

*They look at her*

 

Yamitora: What what's like?

 

Luna: What happened to her. Being taken from her home. Being turned into a half-demon the way she was.

 

*sad looks come on their faces*

 

Yamitora: 'Poor Suishoku, it's probably painful. I wonder if thats the real reason she went out.'

 

Luna: Huh? *she notices their sad looks* Uh... so um Yamitora tell us a little more about yourself!

 

Yamitora: Um ok. I came from a small villege, few of us were slayers. But... *she takes out a bottle with a cork in it and an old sacred sutrat on it* this is The Scared Bottle of Hedra, an ancient airlum of my family.

 

Natalya: Whoa, cool.

 

Luna: It's beautiful.

 

Yamitora: There's a legend to it too. It was said that 5 evil demon brothers were sealed inside it long ago. My family was entrusted to make sure that the seal is never broken. Though I highly doubt it could, sometimes I doubt that the legends even true.

 

Luna: Wow.

 

Yamitora: Yeah. '...hmm' *she stands up and heads toward the door*

 

Natalya: Where are you going?

 

Yamitora: I'm going to go show Suishoku. *she runs out to find her*

 

Natalya & Luna: ...

 

~~~~~~~Yamitora in the forest, looking for Suishoku~~~~~~~~~~

 

Yamitora: Suishoku!!.........Suishoku are you there??!!

 

*there is a noise from the bushes, Yamitora turns to it*

 

Yamitora: Suishoku, is that you?

 

*force of wind comes from the bush and knocks her down she drops the Hedra bottle*

 

Yamitora: What the... *she puts her hand on her sword hilt*

 

A voice: Did I startle you?

 

Yamitora: No. *she grabs her sword*

 

A voice: Then I'll have to try a little harder.

 

*a bat demon emerges from the bush*

 

Bat: Allow me to introduce myself, I am Marishca. I've come for that relic! *She points to the bottle* Give it to me!

 

*she runs for it but Yamitora grabs it before she can*

 

Yamitora: What do you want it for?!

 

Marishca: My master desires it.

 

*she starts to chase Yamitora*

 

Marishca: Give me the Bottle of Hedra!

 

Yamitora: No! I won't let you have it! *trips and falls, drops the bottle it rolls away*

 

Marishca: It's mine! *goes for it again*

 

*Yamitora tries to strike her with the sword but misses*

 

Marishca: Is that all you can do?

 

*she hits the sword out of her hand & hits Yamitora to the grow*

 

*Suishoku comes out of the bushes, tries to hit Marishca away from Yamitora but misses*

 

Suishoku: I smelled that you were in trouble. *helps Yamitora up*

 

Marishca: Nice try, half-wolf!

 

Suishoku: Marishca ...I see your up to no good... as usual.

 

Yamitora: You two know each other?

 

Suishoku: She's Kuma's cronie.

 

*Natalya & Luna come running*

 

Luna: Yamitora!!

 

Marishca: See you later. *laughs, flies and grabs the bottle, and flies away*

 

Yamitora: No!!!!!

 

Suishoku: That bitch! *turns to Yamitora* Don't worry we'll get it back.

 

~~~~Back on the trail the next day, everything has been explained to Natalya, Luna & Suishoku~~~~

 

Natalya: Looks like we all have reasons for finding and killing Kuma.

 

Yamitora: We sure do. To get you and Cordilia un cursed, for Suishoku's pay back, for Luna's ...uh ...for Luna.

 

Suishoku: *puts arm around Yamitora's shoulder* And let's not forget to get your Hedra Bottle back.

 

Luna: Wonder why he wants that thing anyway...hmm.

 

~~~~~~Kuma's Castle~~~~~~~~

 

Marishca: I retrieved it for you, Kuma.

 

Kuma: Heh he hmn. Good.

Chapter Six: On the Path to Nowhere & You Meet a Friend

Suishoku: aarggh!!!! I can't take it anymore! Where in the hell are we actually going?!

 

Luna: Like we know where Kuma is!!

 

Natalya: We don't have any leads you know!!

 

Yamitora: It would be easier if we did.

 

Suishoku: I know I just can't stand not knowing where!! It feels like we're just walkin around in circles!!

 

Yamitora: We feel the same way. We're just as frustrated and pissed. But we're not freaking out like you are!!

 

Suishoku: This is the first time I've said anything!!

 

Luna: Nevermind!! Let's change the suppject.

 

Natalya: To what?

 

Kiden: Mew

 

*they all try to think for a few mintues*

 

Luna: Oh I know!

 

*all look @ her*

 

Luna: Suishoku tell us about your era!

 

Suishoku: Well, ...we've started to trade with others countries, um we've been to the moon, and our remadies have improved extremly. And thats really it, well... thats not it but if I told you everything it would take forever.

 

Luna, Natalya, & Yamitora: Whoa.

 

Suishoku: Uh-huh.

 

Yamitora: If you don't mind me asking... can I ask about when you were turned into a half-demon?

 

*Luna & Natalya's eyes widen a bit*

 

*Suishoku almost stops walking and lowers her head*

 

Luna: Um, so Natalya how bout that weather we're having!

 

Suishoku: I was walking home from playing soccer at the park...

 

Natalya, Luna, & Yamitora: Uh.

 

Suishoku: I was just walking and I suddenly fell. It was the time rift. I woke up and was in Kuma's castle thats when he started casting spells and mixing his potions. It...it left a scar over my heart. I still remember the pain.

 

Yamitora: Oh my God! I'm sorry that reminded you of that.

 

Suishoku: No, it's alright. *turns to them smileing* Because now I'm a half-demon, and I have my new great friends.

 

*Natalya, Luna & Yamitora smile*

 

Suishoku: I sure owe Sazuka.

 

Luna: Who?

 

Suishoku: Oh thats right I didn't tell you guys. The only reason I could be turned into a half-demon was because I'm the reincranation of a wolf-demon named Sazuka from long ago.

 

Natalya: Seriously? What was she like?

 

Suishoku: Well, I know she was powerful, and strong willed, and respected and feared by many demons. But the the coolest thing is that she had my Suchi-ru-kiba , and my speed and abilities, only more powerful.

 

Yamitora: Cool!

 

Suishoku: I guess your idea worked Luna, it spent time and look *she points* there's a small lake we can rest by.

 

Luna: What really?!

 

Natalya: Where?!

 

*they all see the lake*

 

Yamitora: Awesome!

 

*they run to it*

 

~~~~~~~Resting by lake~~~~~~~

 

*Suishoku is laying under a shady tree, Luna is sitting by her with Kiden fletching her arrows, Natalya is looking for food, Yamitora is taking a drink of water.*

 

Suishoku: Ahhh this is nice

 

Luna: Your right...*under breath* stupid feather won't work.

 

*Natalya comes back from scaveging*

 

Natalya: I found some fruit. Here. *throws it to Luna, Suishoku &Yamitora*

 

Suishoku: Thanks.

 

Natalya: I have to go & tell Sesshomaru about everything thats happened.

 

Yamitora: Huh?

 

Luna: Alright. See ya later and hurry back.

 

Yamitora: Bye.

 

Natalya, Luna, Yamitora: ...

 

*They all look @ Suishoku*

 

Suishoku: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

 

Luna: Go ahead, she won't notice.

 

Natalya: K. Bye.

 

*Natalya leaves*

 

*Suishoku's ears and nose twich, she sitts up*

 

Yamitora: Your awake already?

 

Luna: Let me guess, your gonna ask where Natalya is. Right?

 

Suishoku: Ah, no. It's the scent of a demon.

 

Yamitora: What?

 

*Suishoku runs into the forest with the tornado surronding her*

 

Luna: Hey!!!! Get back here!!!!

 

Yamitora: Suishoku!!!! What's the matter??!!

 

*Kiden transformes as Luna jumps on her back, grabs Yamitora's arm and lifts her up*

 

Kiden: *growls*

 

~~~~~~~~Some minutes later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

*Suishoku is running towards the scent*

 

Suishoku: 'I've never smelled this scent before, but something about it worries me... and pisses me off.'

 

*Suishoku clears the forest and comes upon the scene. Scene: A mountain base next to a small clearing, next to the forest*

 

*Saaacccrrreach*

 

Suishoku: Uh?! *looks up*

 

*She sees 7-9 Bird of Paradise demons in the sky...fighting a wolf demon*

 

Suishoku: 'Who is that?... Is he...Is he a wolf demon?'

 

*He spots her down below, when he kills one of the last three BOP, Suishoku jumps up and kills one, when the last comes around surprises & strikes her. Suishoku is falling back to the ground*

 

*The wolf demon catches her bridal style and lands, they stare @ each other*

 

*Luna, Yamitora, and Kiden come out of the woods a little out of breath*

 

Luna: *Huff* It only took forever to catch up with her!

 

*Kiden transformes back*

 

Kiden: Mew.

 

Yamitora: What's going on?

 

Luna: Huh?

 

*They look @ them, jaws drop a little*

 

Yamitora & Luna: HUH?!

 

Suishoku: Uh...*stare*

 

*they stare @ each other more*

 

Suishoku: *Blushes a little* Um....thank you. *Jumps out of his arms*

 

*Sscccaaarreeach*

 

*All look up*

 

*Suishoku jumps up and kills the last BOP*

 

Suishoku: Heh, I'm not your basic DID!

 

Yamitora: *liens to Luna* What's a DID?

 

Luna: Dansel In Destress.

 

Yamitora: Oh. ...No, I don't think she is.

 

*Suishoku lands next to him*

 

Koga: Not bad.

 

*They stare @ each other*

 

Luna: ...Do you think they know each other?

 

Yamitora: Maybe.

 

Koga & Suishoku: I'm Koga/Suishoku ...uh

 

Koga: Koga.

 

Suishoku: I'm Suishoku.

 

Luna: Hi, I'm Luna and this is Yamitora.

 

Koga: *looks @ them, then turns back to Suishoku* So your a wolf demon too?

 

Suishoku: Half-wolf demon, actually. 'Don't you dare say it!'

 

Koga: Really? Well you did a number on that Bird of Paradise.

 

Suishoku: Oh. *looks @ dead BOP* Bird of Paradise?

 

Luna: So thats what those things are.

 

Suishoku: I've never seen one before.

 

Yamitora: Thats odd concidering how fast you bolted to get here.

 

Suishoku: I couldn't help it. It just...felt like something I had to do.

 

Koga: Thats not really surpriseing. The Wolf Demon Tribes and the BOPs have been natural enemies for a long time. You were just reacting on instinct. *smile*

 

Luna: Are you kidding? Instinct is one of her many middle names!

 

Suishoku: Ha ha, very funny!

 

Koga: What's that mean?

 

Suishoku: My full name is Suishoku Hosaki No Gesseikai.

 

Koga: Wow.

 

Yamitora: Yeah, thats why we just call her Suishoku.

 

*The very odd banter continues*

 

~~~~~Meanwhile this is going on somewhere else~~~~~~

 

*Natalya emerges from some bushes to look @ a feild in which Rin, Jaken, Ah Uh, and Sesshomaru are*

 

Natalya: Hmmm...
