Chapter Twelve: Icosa, the Eldest

 

*The earth quake stops.*

 

Luna: Maybe it was just an earth quake.

 

Natalya: Demon.

 

Suishoku: Don't feel to bad Luna, that was a pretty good guess for a novice.

 

Luna: Hey!

 

Yamitora: Let's hope it's a good demon.

 

Pentahedron: I seriously doubt that.

 

Girls: Huh?

 

*A couple houses are destroyed. The smoke clears, revealing a demon warrior who looks similar to Pentahedron.*

 

Suishoku: Who the hell is that?

 

Yamitora: *to Penta* He looks... like you!

 

Pentahedron: Icosa!

 

Icosahedron: Penta! Why are you playing with these mortals?! We've got work to do! ...Do I have to break your little toys?!

 

Natalya: Toys?!

 

Suishoku: What's he talking about, Penta?! It's obivous you know him!

 

Pentahedron: Icosa, they're not involed in this! Leave them alone!

 

Luna: What?

 

Yamitora: What are you saying?

 

Icosahedron: We need to search for the past bearer of the Bottle of Hedra!

 

Yamitora: Huh?! What do know about my Hedra Bottle?! Where is it?!

 

Pentahedron: Yamitora?!

 

Icosahedron: Well my brother it looks like you've found her! Good work!

 

Girls: Brother?!

 

Ikujinashi: *on Yamitora's shoulder.* They must be two of the infamous Hedron Brothers, once sealed in the Bottle of Hedra!

 

Yamitora: What?!! Penta, is that true?!

 

Icosahedron: You look upset... Yes we are. I am Icosahedron, eldest & leader of the five Hedron brothers! And you are the past bearer of the Bottle of Hedra! *laughs* We will kill you for keeping us captive!

 

Pentahedron: No! Don't you hurt her! *stands in front of Yamitora*

 

Icosahedron: Penta! Show alligance to your brother! She is the enemy.

 

Pentahedron: It doesn't have to be that way!! We don't need to fight them!

 

Yamitora: 'We have BIG diferences in opinion.' ...Penta.

 

Icosahedron: You can't betray your blood for some girl!! Wait... Your infatuated with her arn't you?

 

Pentahedron: Hnn!

 

Icosahedron: Forget her brother, we have better things to do! Including killing her!

 

Natalya: Okay, that's it!

 

Suishoku: We've had just about enough of you!

 

Icosahedron: Stay out of this! Half-demons arn't related to this matter!

 

Suishoku: What'd you...?!!!

 

Icosahedron: Let's go, Penta.

 

Pentahedron: ...

 

Icosahedron: ...We'll discuss this later! *He jumps into the air.* Come!

 

Yamitora: Penta... Is it true? Are you a demon from the Bottle of Hedra?

 

Pentahedron: *turns to Yamitora.* ... I am afraid it is. And it looks like...

 

Yamitora: ...We're suppose to be enemies.

 

Suishoku: Ugh! Romeo & Juliet complex. ...Who says you two have to be enemies?!

 

Luna: Romeo & Juliet?

 

Pentahedron: Icosahedron & the others are bent on revenge, nothing will stop them. No matter what I say.

 

Icosahedron: Come, Penta!

 

Natalya: Don't go if you don't feel the same!!

 

Pentahedron: It's not that easy. You don't know my brothers. They won't take that for an answer.

 

Suishoku: But!!!-

 

Pentahedron: No. It has to be this way. 'Why did this have to happen?' I can't be in your company anymore. *begins to walk away.* ...I'm sorry. 'Please don't hate me Yamitora.'

 

Yamitora: Me... too.

 

*Penta jumps up into the air with his brother and they both leave*

 

Ikujinashi: *Hops to Luna's shoulder. Kida transforms back.* Great job ladies! And Penta too of course! Hey, ...where is he? *all but Yamitora's eyes widen & they flick Ikujinashi.*

 

Luna: Yamitora, ...you okay?

 

Yamitora: Oh yeah! I'm fine! Why wouldn't I be? *fake smile*

 

Girls ex Yamitora: ...Uh...

 

Yamitora: Penta is doing what he has to... and so am I. My anstestor sealed him & his brothers into that bottle, so we're enemies... that's how it goes.

 

Natalya: Are you sure you want to do this?

 

Suishoku: Things arn't always that simple, Yamitora.

 

Yamitora: This is how it has to be. *walks off*

 

Luna: But... is it what she wants?

 

Natalya: I doubt it.

 

Suishoku: Just because it "has to be" a certaint way, ...doesn't mean it's right.

Chapter Thirteen: Three Battles

 

*Yamitora is sitting under a tree, tearing.*

 

Yamitora: 'No. It has to be this way.' It has... to be... this way. Dosen't it? ...Look at me! I just met him, it's not like I got attached to him or anything. Heh, yeah, the 5 Hedron brothers are just another group of foes. ...just another foe. 'Penta.'

Natalya: Do you think we can go after her now?

 

Luna: Nah, not now. She probably wants to be alone.

 

Suishoku: Damn it!! Why'd he go if he doesn't want to be our enemy?!

 

All: ......

 

Natalya: This sucks!

 

Luna: No kidding...

 

Suishoku: If only there was something we could do.

Yamitora: *doesn't notice bushes rustle.* *sigh* What will I do?

 

Voice: I was hoping you knew.

 

Yamitora: *wips around to see Penta* Penta?! What are you doing here?!

 

Pentahedron: I came to talk. *Both sit down* ...I've decided that I won't kill. I'm not like my brothers... I don't enjoy hurting people.

 

Yamitora: But... won't that just cause tension between you and your brothers?

 

Pentahedron: The tension has always been there and caused problems. All of this... just let everything loose. ...Like it should be.

 

Yamitora: Then you... Then where do your loyalities lie?

 

Pentahedron: *sigh* With you, but with them, too.

 

Yamitora: ...I understand. *Penta looks @ her* They're your brothers. You're still connected to them even if you have different ideals.

 

Pentahedron: Yamitora...?

 

*Ground quakes & a huge light springs from the forest nearby*

Luna: This doesn't boud well, ...let's investigate!

 

Natalya: Kay. *They all run toward the light*

Yamitora: What is that?!

 

Pentahedron: It could be Icosa causeing trouble.

 

Yamitora: I'm sure Luna & others are already heading for it. ...What do you want to do?

 

Pentahedron: ...Let's go. *they run toward it*

Natalya: Remind me why we're running to the light we know nothing about.

 

Luna: *huff* Because it's giving off a large demonic aura.

 

Suishoku: And it has a sent of danger and demons.

 

Luna: And we get the feeling *huff* Icosa is behind it.

 

Suishoku: And what else would we do, but run to it?

 

Natalya: Okay, forget I even asked.

 

Eyes from forest: Heh heh heh. This will darken their day. *Draws symbol on ground, puts index fingers together & begins to chant.*

 

*The chant starts to echo through the forest.*

 

Natalya: Huh? You hear that? *they stop and look around*

 

Luna: What could it be?

 

Suishoku: I have a bad feeling about this.

 

• The chant grows louder and louder til it complitly stops.*

 

Luna: Why'd it- *turns around to see no one* Guys...? Aaahhhh!!!! Where'd you go?!!

 

Natalya: Well that was- *notices* Hey!! Jerks!! Who said you could up and leave me???!!!!

 

Suishoku: Well was with that was- *notices* strange... Ahh hell! ...Might as well head for that aura... that was where we were going. *begins running in typhoon*

 

Luna: Ok, Ok. Calm down, they just thought they'd play a joke. Yeah a joke ...But this isn't funny!!! *hears snap in trees* Eeyeeee! ...AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! *runs off*

 

Natalya: Guess I'll keep going this way. Head for the light, yeah, sure... *starts running*

 

Eyes: Ha heh. Perfect.

*Running*

 

Yamitora: Penta! *Huff* Not to pry or anything, but...*huff* What do you plan on doing when we get there?

 

Pentahedron: Not Sure.

 

Yamitora: Oh... Ah, that's not-

 

Pentahedron: Don't worry about it, I'm not... Besides a very wise girl once told me "follow your heart". *looks at her*

 

Yamitora: Uh...*trips & falls*

 

Pentahedron: *stops* Okay, so maybe "wise" wasn't the right word, heh. *helps her up*

 

Yamitora: Let's keep going!

*Still freaking out (running)*

 

Luna: Guys?! Guys!! *Huff* Where are you?! ...I hate this!! 'Why am I so scared?!!!'

 

Kida: Mew...*growls*

 

*Kida jumps off her shoulder. Luna isn't looking & runs into something stretched across two trees & goes flying backwards*

 

Luna: Aahhh! 'Oof! Ow!! *rubs head* This is not my day. What was that? Cloth?

 

Kida: Mew.

 

Voice: *Laughs*I thought that would get your attention, it serves you right anyway. *laugh* You should have seen yourself! *jumps out of the trees & retracks the cloth*

 

Luna: Ggrrrrr! You! *Stands* Who do you think you are?!

 

Tetrahedron: Me? I'm Tetraheron, Tetra for short, one of the 5 Hedron Brothers. And I'm here to make sure you don't interfer.

 

Luna: Think again, Freak! I'm not going to lose to you!

 

Tetrahedron: Really? The demonstration from a few moments ago argues against that!

 

Luna: Grrr! *Stress mark* You little...

 

Tetrahedron: What, disagree? Then prove your claim! *grabs weapon & lunges at her*

 

*Luna quickly unsleaths her sword and blocks his attack, but he forces her back on the ground & jumps backwards*

 

Tetrahedron: *laughs* If thats all you've got this should be easy, my dumb friend.

 

Luna: *stands up* GGGrrrrrrr!! I'm gonna kill you!

 

Tetrahedron: Well then, do your job, demon slayer.

 

*He again lunges @ her w/ his spear. A series of attacks & blocks continue between the 2 for a while. Now forcing sword to sword.*

 

Tetrahedron: Having fun yet? *laughs*

 

Luna: Loads. ...Earlier you said something about not letting me interfer. Extactly what is it you don't what me interfering in?

 

Tetrahedron: Why, the murder of your little friend who once carried the Bottle of Hedra.

 

Luna: *Eyes widen* What?!

 

Tetrahedron: Yes! And the rest of your friends too! *laughs* Your all so foolish! You should have ditched her when you found out about Icosa's plan! And you... Your probably the stupidest one of all!!! *laughs*

 

Luna: You know something... you talk to much!!!! *She gathers strength & throws him back* No one calls my friends stupid, but me!! And no one calls me stupid, but them!!! ...But first and foremost... No one trys to kill my friends... & gets away with it!!!!

 

*She dashes foreward, Tetra attempts to block, but she swerves around his spear & decapatates him, his body then disintagrates*

 

Luna: *huff* Moron!! *Kida jumps back on her should & she runs off*

 

~~~~~~~Mean while... Suishoku~~~~~~~~

 

*Running through typhoon & stops*

 

Suishoku: Something's here. *looks around* Hmmn... I know it's near, it's scent is close. *An erie feeling comes over her* Come out!!

 

Voice: Demanding... arn't we? *Calmly & slowly walks out off the trees & bushes*

 

Suishoku: I take it you are a Hedron Brother?

 

Hexahedron: Yes, ...I am Hexahedron... You were the only one that wasn't shaken by my spell. Hmmmn.

 

Suishoku: So you were the one who seperated us.

 

Hexahedron: Indeed, but enough of what has already been done... It shall be a treat to cause you pain & fear.

 

Suishoku: 'Great, ...the satus.' Just bring it!

 

Hexahedron: *6 orbs of energy come from his hand.* Conciter it brought! Satan's 666!!

 

*The orbs of light fly toward her, but she dogdes them all *

 

Hexahedron: 'Hmmm she is quick' See if you can out run this!! *He puts his fingers together & begins to chant*

 

Suishoku: Huh?! What's he up to...?

 

Hexahedron: Now fall!!!

 

*A huge, thick fog surrounds both of them instandly*

 

Suishoku: Ahh!! *cough* What the- *cough, stummble*

 

Hexahedron: Don't you like it? *laughs*

 

Suishoku: 'This is bad! I can't see & the fog is cloking his scent!! ...He's going to use this fog to kill me!!!'

 

Hexahedron: Ha ha ha. *from right behind Suishoku* Come and get me.

 

Suishoku: Errrr! *She tries to strike him but he is no longer there, this happens 2 more times.* 'Wait I've got an idea'

 

Hexahedron: What's the matter? Paralized with fear?

 

Suishoku: Hell no! Suchi-ru-kiba!!!!! *defuses & spins it around & around til all of the fog disapates*

 

Hexahedron: Hmm, not bad. Not many make it through my fog. But don't worry I'm not out of tricks yet!

 

Suishoku: ...

 

Hexahedron: A tactic inspired by my younger brother. *chants* Multiply!! *Dozens of Hexa's appear all around* Let's see if you can tell which one is the original!!

 

Suishoku: ...Damn!!!

 

*She begins to fight the reaplacas, but after one is hurt it feels to normal again.*

 

Suishoku: 'Damn it I don't have time for this!! My friends could be in trouble!! I've gotta figure out what he's doing. ...All his attacks are just spells so I have to find the loupe hole.'

 

Hexahedron(s): *laugh* Give up to the fear!!

 

Suishoku: 'That's it!!' Fear?! You must be mistaken... if any thing I'm pissed! HAA!!! *She suddenly stops fighting and closes her sees & opens them to one Hexa.' Hmmn. There.

 

Hexahedron: But how?! How did you overcome my spell?!

 

Suishoku: Easy. It was a spell, it wasn't real. I just needed to figure out how to break it. ...Your chant penatrates the ears and enters the brain, confuseing all senses... even mine.

 

Hexahedron: But how?!

 

Suishoku: For a spell like that, all one needs to do to counteract it & recapture hold of your own senses... by realizeing that it was all fake to begin with! Then the figures become like holograms... after that just close yours eyes! ...Now, you...

 

Hexahedron: Huh?!

 

Suishoku: Sayonara!! *She hits her Suchi-ru-kiba to the ground, sending a energy blast towards him, destroying him completely.* Now to find the others! *She continues running*

*walking*

 

Natalya: Fer cryin out loud! Where are those guys? I can't turn my back on 'im for a minute. ...Come to think of it... I haven't seen Yamitora since she left, but I bet she's fine. *stops* Maybe you come tell me where they are. *turns to her right*

 

Voice: *A humanoid demon appears sitting on a rock* What makes you think I know? I'm just a humble demon.

 

Natalya: Sure you are. You... are one of Penta's brothers.

 

Septahedron: Hmmmn. Good nose you've got there. *stands and faces her* Septahedron's the name. Though my friends call me Septa.

 

Natalya: Well then I certainly won't be calling you by that.

 

Septahedron: Aaawww, to bad. Your pretty cute. ...You might be a half-breed, but there are ways to change that.

 

Natalya: Sorry, Septer, but I love someone else already. And he could surely beat you! *removes sais and attacks him.*

 

*He turns his spear, blocking her.*

 

Septahedron: Uuuuuu, fisty!

 

Natalya: Uck!!

 

Septahedron: *He suddenly jumps back and then back again* Let's see how you like this. Seven in Harmony!!! *He multiplies into seven different versions of himself.*

 

Natalya: Big deal... all I have to do is find out which one of you is real. Hmph!

 

*She grabs her sais and charges one of the Septas, it dodges, while another swipes in. The first punches her & the second knees her in the gut. She staggers back a little.*

 

Septahedron: Ohh so sorry my pet, but all of these are real! ...Try fighting my army.

 

Natalya: 'Great, a small army of that creep.' Well then... I'll just have kill you all.

 

Septahedron: *laughs* Good luck! We cordinate as a team, something your not able to do. At least... not without your friends.

 

Natalya: My friends...? What are you up to?

 

Septahedron: You'll see! *They begin to attack her & she dodges & blocks with an occasional hit.*

 

Natalya: 'That's wierd, after I asked him that question he just charged. He definately seems like the type to stop and brage about his plan. Why is he rushing? It must be something about his attack.'

 

*They continue for a few minutes. When suddemly Septa starts to hasten his attacks.*

 

Natalya: 'He's gotten desperate, hmmmn.'

 

Septahedron: 'Damn, I didn't expect her defenses her to be this good... & my times almost up!!'

 

*The septas pause for a moment*

 

Natalya: Huh?

 

*The Septas revert to one Septa.*

 

Septahedron: 'Damn!'

 

Natalya: *laughs* It seems your little manuver only lasts for a certain amount of time. It'll be a lot easier now!

 

Septahedron: My multiplcation may have ended, but your still wary from fighting me off.

 

*They fight for awhile with their weapons.*

 

Septahedron: You won't reconcider?

 

Natalya: No way!!

 

Septahedron: What makes you so loyal to this guy?

 

Natalya: Not that it's any of your bisniess, ...but he's warm, loyal, strong, & *She hits him back* he dosen't piss me off!!

 

Septahedron: *Runs back & strikes a sai out of her hand sending it into a tree.* What's wrong with that?

 

Natalya: Eerrrrr!! Everything!!

 

*She tries to fight him with 1 sai, but she must go on the defensive.*

 

Septahedron: ...Let's make a deal. ...If I win, your mine.

 

Natalya: And if I win, your dead!!

 

Septahedron: You sound confident.

 

Natalya: I should, after all... I'm going to win!!

 

*She drops down and kicks his foot, knocking him down. As he begins to recover his ground she runs to the tree, takes the sai & throws it pierceing his heart.*

 

Septahedron: ACK!!!!!

 

Natalya: *walks up to him & kneels down* I win. *She takes hold of the sai and pulls it out, causing him to disintagrate.* That's enough of him, back to where I was. *runs off*

*They reach a clearing (source of demonic light) & stop*

 

Yamitora: *Bending down, breathing hard* We... *huff* made it. *huff*

 

Pentahedron: Icosa!!! Show yourself!!!

 

Icosahedron: *Emerges* There you are Brother. And you've brought the human too, well done!

 

Pentahedron: No!!

 

Icosahedron: What?!

 

Pentahedron: I'm here to tell you ...that I know longer plan to kill!

 

Icosahedron: *laughs* Your kidding. ...Right?

 

Pentahedron: No...I'm not.

 

Icosahedron: Hmm...

*Luna, running*

 

Luna: *A twig snaps* Huh? *stops* Hmmmn it could be another Hedron Brother. *unsheathes her sword. and charges the bush* Hahhhhhhh!!!!

 

*Natalya jumps out.*

 

Natalya: Huuuuuu!!!!! *crash* Ah... Luna?

 

Luna: Natalya?

 

Both: Of course it'd be you. *They get up*

 

Natalya: You okay?

 

Luna: Yeah, I'm Fine. *they hear a noise from behind* Huh? *they turn around to see a typhoon heading for them.*

 

Both: Aaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! Suishoku, stop!!!!

 

Suishoku: *Skids to a stop, 3 inches away fron them* Huh? Guys!! Are you alright?!

 

Natalya: Before or after you almost ran us over?

 

Suishoku: Before.

 

Luna: We're both fine. You?

 

Suishoku: Yeah. And on top of that I killed a Hedron brother named Hexahedron.

 

Natalya: I got one called Septahedron.

 

Luna: So did I, Tetrahedron.

 

Suishoku: That only leaves Icosa & Penta still alive.

 

Natalya: But hopefully we won't have to kill Penta.

 

Luna: I've got a feeling both of them & Yamitora might be at the base of the demonic aura.

 

Suishoku: Then let's get there already.

 

*They Run off*
